“I had tried to get into modelling school when I was 17 but was told by the director that because I had stopped growing the only way I would ever be the right height was if I grew leg extensions. So that’s exactly what I decided to do. At first, my parents were really against it. My mum is only 5.2-foot and my dad 5.5-foot, so we are a family of shorties,”
Tanser is surgically fracturing her legs to become six feet tall. She has currently gained 2.5 inches in height to become 5 foot 4 inches tall. In the mean time, she has gotten additional cosmetic surgery to help her become a model.
Transer’s fractured bone began to grow together as she recovered. Meanwhile, she had to turn a screw on each cage four times a day, moving the healing fracture apart by approximately 0.10 centimeters a day. After nine months, Transer’s legs grew a total of 2.3in.
“The first operation went really well, and in nine months I grew by 6cm. I am now planning two more operations in the next couple of years, and by 2018 I will be 6ft,” Transer said. The 30-year-old, aware of her age, realizes she may be too old to model, but says, “I’ll dye my hair blonde and at least I will look and feel like one.”
No matter how expensive and painful it maybe, I guess it’s great that she has never given up on her dreams.

CBS is trying to diversify their line-up with a new TV pilot starring ‘Orange is the New Black’s’ transgender actress, Laverne Cox.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Laverne Cox is leaving Litchfield Penitentiary and heading to the courtroom.
The Orange Is the New Black breakout has been tapped to co-star in CBS’ buzzy legal dramaDoubt, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The drama revolves around a yet-to-be-cast smart, chic, successful defense lawyer at a boutique firm who shockingly gets romantically involved with one of her clients who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. [via]
It looks as though CBS is planning on tapping into a new market following the success of Empire, Black-ish and How to Get Away with Murder and it looks like it might be a good idea. CBS is currently least diverse network on TV with over 70% of the actors being white.

LeBron James is leaving the jumpshot at home and picking up a movie script as he heads to set.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Cleveland Cavalier explains his recent adventure into Hollywood. Most recently, he co-starred in the upcoming Amy Schumer movie, Trainwreck and the actor explained his acting experience.
James admits that he was as anxious on the New York City set ofTrainwreck as he was for his very first NBA game. Last summer on a Nike promotional trip to China, he had his entourage — Carter, Mims — read the other characters. “I was just trying to stay ready,” he recalls. “I was very nervous — all the way to the point where they said, ‘Action.’ “
The director argues that LeBron James is a talented actor.
“We tested the movie, and he gets laughter as big as anyone,” says Apatow. “The only fear you ever have with people of his stature is whether or not they’re game to have fun and take chances. They’ll say: ‘I don’t want to say that. That will sound weird. That’s not good for my reputation.’ LeBron is a very strong actor, and he has a fantastic sense of humor. We do a lot of improvisation, and he was really good at it. As a result, it’s a really fun, wild, slightly strange performance that really scores.”
Overall, it looks like LeBron James is preparing to take over Hollywood.
His stardom already has opened doors in Hollywood. Spring Hill Productions, named for the housing complex James moved into with his mother when he was in sixth grade, is growing a portfolio of TV and digital projects where ownership and creative control are elemental: the Disney series Becoming; the Starz scripted dramedySurvivor’s Remorse; the reality show Uninterrupted for Turner’s digital platform Bleacher Report; a trivia game-show pilot for NBC. Sources say the company is close to finalizing a deal for a series show on CNBC — which has had success in primetime with reruns of Shark Tank — that will have James and Carter leading the transformation of distressed businesses. And they also are talking to executives at NBCUniversal’s male-targeted Esquire Network about a “bucket list” show featuring James.

Sony is making the new Spider-Man movie a whole lot younger.
Now that Andrew Garfield is fired from the Spider-Man franchise. Sony Pictures getting ready to put out a new casting call for their next Spider-Man movie. According to Variety, the plan is for the character to go back to high school in the next films.
A number of actors already have been mentioned as being considered for the role, including “The Maze Runner” and “Teen Wolf’s” Dylan O’Brien and the “Percy Jackson” franchise’s Logan Lerman. Lerman most recently co-starred in Sony’s “Fury.”
Actors have yet to be approached, and sources say Sony is looking to hire a new director to replace “The Amazing Spider-Man” films’ Marc Webb before tapping a new Spidey. The studio also needs to figure out whether it wants to go with another Peter Parker or introduce another character that suits up as Spider-Man, including Miles Morales, whose father is African American and mother is Puerto Rican.
The plans for the new Spider-Man movie will spend more time in the setting and explore this awkward relationship with other students while fighting crime outside of the classroom. Peter Parker ends up becoming a science teacher.
Marvel wants to introduce the new actor playing Spider-Man in “Captain America: Civil War,” which starts filming next month in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producer Dimitri Logothetis and production accountant Jenna Thornsberry told Variety that all the employees paid as of last week.
Logothetis said the producers, who paid over $500,000 in the late payments, had been surprised by a bridge lender pulling out in December. The failure to pay members of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees provoked a strong response from Mike Miller, president of the union’s motion picture division.
Jean Claude Van Damme joined the movie after it began filming in New Orleans, replacing Tony Jaa in the Master Chow role. The movie was directed by John Stockwell, and it is expected to film for two more weeks in Thailand this month.
Kickboxer includes “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Dave Bautista, former UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and Alain Moussi (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”).

Is the Hollywood and acting industry ran by privately educated “rich actors”? Well many A-List actors seem to think so.
According the Herald of Scotland, James McAvoy suggests that if the current trend of rich-kid actors continue to take other aspiring actors jobs, then it would be “damaging for society”.
James McAvoy was a true definition of a “struggling actor”. McAvoy paid his way through drama school by working in a bakery but, now the actor suggests that privately educated actors are ruining the industry. McAvoy argues that everyone cannot get the same opportunities to work in the film industry.
“Whenever we talk about this, we have to be very very clear. There’s a lot of posh actors that have been to boarding school and all that who are feeling very embattled, sort of cornered,” he said, adding: “[N]obody has got anything against an actor who is posh and is doing really well.” [via]
McAvoy believes that if this trend continues, the only actors would come from the world’s top 1%.
If you are unfamiliar with Britain’s elite acting schools, private schools such as Eton and Harrow are among the most popular and the most expensive.
Here are just a few of Hollywood’s A-List actors that attended private elite acting school.
The Eton-educated Eddie Redmayne (a classmate of Prince William) and Harrow-educated Benedict Cumberbatch, who are both in the running for the best actor Oscar, are perhaps the most telling examples of the dominance of “posh” actors. 4 Star Casting is looking for actors, models, and talent to work on an upcoming Payless Shoes commercial filming in Chicago, Illinois. Producers are looking for stand-ins to work on the upcoming commercial filming on Wednesday 6/10/15 and/or Thursday 6/11/15. Talents that are selected will be compensated $275 to work on the upcoming commercial filming in Chicago.

Spider-Man returns to Marvel for a new movie coming in 2017.
In a reboot of the “Spider-Man” franchise, Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced a new partnership with Marvel Studios that brings the popular superhero back into the Marvel universe.
According to reports, a new Spider-Man film will hit theaters on July 28, 2017.
Previously, Sony owned the feature rights to Spider-Man character since 1999, when Marvel sold them for $7 million. However, on Monday, Sony and Marvel will create a new Spider-Man movie after Andrew Garfield starred in the last two films. Before that Tobey Maguire played Peter Parker in the previous three installments for Sony.
Marvel’s Kevin Feige will produce the rebooted Spider-Man series with Amy Pascal, who recently quit her job as the co-chairman of Sony. But, she has a ton of experience, Pascal oversaw the $4 billion Spider-Man franchise for over 13 years at the studio.
The new report suggests that Sony will distribute, finance, own and have final creative control of the Spider-Man movies but, they will be working with Marvel, which is owned by Disney, to mesh Spider-Man’s character into Marvel’s upcoming superhero movies. Upcoming Marvel movies include “The Avengers” and perhaps Captain America: Civil War which is filming in Atlanta, Georgia in the next couple of months.
To make room for Spider-Man, Disney has rescheduled several of their upcoming feature films including “Thor: Ragnorak” which was originally planned to open on the July 28, 2017 date. Now, the movie moves to November 3, 2017. “Black Panther,” which had the November 3 date is now premiering on July 6, 2017.
This is what the CEO of The Walt Disney Company had to say about the upcoming Spider-Man deal.
“Spider-Man is one of Marvel’s great characters, beloved around the world. We’re thrilled to work with Sony Pictures to bring the iconic web-slinger into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which opens up fantastic new opportunities for storytelling and franchise building.”
“I am thrilled to team with my friends at Sony Pictures along with Amy Pascal to produce the next Spider-Man movie,” said Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. “Amy has been deeply involved in the realization on film of one of the world’s most beloved characters. Marvel’s involvement will hopefully deliver the creative continuity and authenticity that fans demand from the MCU.”
This new deal follows the infamous Sony Hack which ruined the release of The Interview.However, Spider-Man traveling to Marvel may change the game for Sony Pictures and the Marvel universe.
But, there are several things the Marvel Universe should change. The first change should be to find a new leading actor. Andrew Garfield was a pretty good Spider-Man but Hollywood is filled with way better entertaining actors to play the role of Peter Parker. Spider-Man should also join the Avengers and Marvel should move past the origin story. Perhaps, make Spider-Man darker like Batman Begins.
