About Widows:

Viola Davis will star in Steve McQueen’s upcoming heist thriller “Widows” for New Regency. “Gone Girl” screenwriter and novelist Gillian Flynn is on board to pen the script with McQueen. Based on the 1983 British miniseries about a caper gone wrong, the story follows four armed robbers who get killed in a failed heist attempt, leaving their widows to finish the job.

Jeremy Renner Breaks Both Arms On Set in Atlanta

Jeremy Renner was injured while filming the New Line comedy Tag in Atlanta but, it does not seem like it will impact his shooting schedule on Disney/Marvel’s The Avengers: Infinity War. The actor showed up at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival this week to support his latest movie Wind River, which is played at the festival.

The actor fractured his right arm and left wrist in the on-set accident a couple of weeks ago. His shooting schedule had to be adjusted due to the injury, but production was not impacted.

Renner stars alongside Ed Helms, Hannibal Buresss and Annabelle Wallis in the movie based on a true story about a group of friends who have been playing a no-holds-barred version of the children’s game for 30 years.

Renner is currently playing the role of Hawkeye in the Marvel Universe movie Infinity War, which is now in production at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. Renner had not started his part of shooting, and Deadline reports his injuries will not impact any set schedule.

The Last Ship Season 5 casting call for stand-ins in San Diego, California.

Casting directors are now hiring stand-ins to work on The Last Ship as it films in San Diego, California. Producers are looking for male actors with red hair to work on the show. Filming will shoot between July 10th through the 13th.

About The Last Ship:

The Navy-set action adventure is based on William Brinkley’s novel of the same name and revolves around a global apocalypse that nearly wipes out the world’s population, though the destroyer USS Nathan James avoids the tragedy, forcing its captain (Dane) and the ship’s crew to confront the new reality that they are probably all alone.

HBO’s Joe Paterno movie starring Al Pacino is now casting kid actors for a pool scene in New York City.

Casting directors are looking for kid actors to portray featured boys for a swimming pool scene. Filming will shoot on August 28 in New York. Talents MUST be comfortable swimming in a pool, playing in the pool and being thrown in the air in the pool.

‘The MISFITS’ Feature Film Open Casting Call for Lead Roles

Mark Mullen and Associates Casting are now casting talent to appear in the upcoming feature film THE MISFITS.

According to the casting call, The MISFITS is a major production by Skyra Entertainment and will be pitched to financiers who are interested in funding a new dance feature film franchise.

Award winning producer/director Scott Poiley (exhume, Last Shift, Missionary) will direct the high energy proof of concept. He is teaming up with his producing partner, Mary Poiley, to package and pitch the show to international distributors. They have also teamed ups with choreographer Lars Brown (LET IT SHINE) to bring in new and fresh choreography to the franchise.

All those involved in the short film will have the opportunity to be apart of the feature film once it is fully funded.

Filming will shoot on July 28th and/or 29th in Orlando, Florida. Casting directors are now casting five lead roles as well as back up dancers. Producers are looking for kid dancers who know how to act as well as dance.

Clint Eastwood’s ‘The 15:17 to Paris’ Atlanta Casting Call for a Neighborhood Scene

Clint Eastwood‘s new movie The 15:17 to Paris is now casting extras for a neighborhood scene in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting directors are now casting men and women with cars from the years 1990 to 1999 to be the neighbors of the lead family set in 1999. Producers are looking for talents between the ages of 30 to 70 years old to work on the scene filming next Tuesday, July 11th. Talents must attend a fitting on July 6th.

About Clint Eastwood’s The 15:17 to Paris:

Clint Eastwood and Warner Bros.’ new movie started production in Georgia this May. Based on the true story, “The 15:17 to Paris” tells the story of three American soldiers who stopped a terrorist plot on a train bound for Paris. The film is based on the book by Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, Spencer Stone and Jeffrey E. Stern. Dorothy Blyskal will write the script, according to Variety.
