HBO’s “The Outsider” is now casting talent to work on scenes filming this March 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. According to Deadline, HBO has given a series order to a new supernatural drama series called The Outsider. The movie will star Ben Mendelsohn. The show comes from The Night Of co-creator/executive producer Richard Price, director-producer Jack Bender (Mr. Mercedes) Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films, Temple Hill Entertainment, and MRC. Ozark star/director/executive producer Jason Bateman is set to direct the first two episodes and may star alongside Mendelsohn in the show.

The novel centers around an investigation into the gruesome murder of a local boy leads a seasoned cop and an unorthodox investigator to question everything “they believe to be real, as an insidious supernatural force edges its way into the case”.

According to Deadline, ABC’s “The Baker and the Beauty” centers around a Miami love story between a baker and an international superstar. She is the most famous woman in the country, the daughter of a real estate magnate, a successful model, and one half of a Hollywood power couple. Meanwhile, th baker is the son of Cuban immigrants and still lives with his parents. A chance encounter leads to unexpected results and an even more unlikely love story. Victor Rasuk has been cast as the male lead opposite Nathalie Kelley in the hourlong romantic comedy pilot based on the Israeli series, from Keshet Studios, Universal TV and ABC Studios.

“Rush Hour” Reboot With an All-Female Cast is Coming Soon (Report)

“Rush Hour” is back!

According to That Hash Tag Show, STX Studios are in early development for a “Rush Hour” reboot with female versions of detective James Carter and inspector Lee.

Jumping off “Rush Hour”’s box office succession, where the movie made $244 million in 1998, a female spin-off would give fans the chance to enjoy the franchise once more. According to reports, the female version of Jackie Chan’s character could potentially be played by BingBing Li, who is most known for her roles in “Resident Evil: Retribution, “The Meg”, and “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

The release date has not been released, but we will make sure to keep you updated once more information is released.

About Rush Hour:

Rush Hour was directed by Brett Ratner and written by written by Jim Kouf and Ross LaManna from a story by LaManna. It stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in a buddy cop comedy who must recuse Chinese consul’s kidnapped daughter. Released on September 18, 1998, the movie made over $244 million worldwide. The movie’s success led to two sequels including “Rush Hour 2” and “Rush Hour 3”.

 Roger Ebert praised both Jackie Chan, for his entertaining action sequences without the use of stunt doubles, and Chris Tucker, for his comedic timing in the movie, and how they formed an effective comedic duo.

Idris Elba to Replace Will Smith in “Suicide Squad 2” (Report)

Idris Elba may be replacing Will Smith and suiting up as Deadshot in “Suicide Squad 2”.

According to reports, the actor is the “first and only choice” of director James Gunn and Warner Bros. to play the superhero in the upcoming sequel.

This news comes after Will Smith left the role in late February over scheduling conflicts. Smith’s decision was considered amicable between him and the studio. Fellow cast members including Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn in 2016, have not been confirmed for the sequel.

Suicide Squad Box Office

Following a strong debut and breaking new box office records, the movie made $746 million worldwide. That said, it received negative reviews from critics, bashing the film’s plot, direction, and characters while praising Robbie’s acting.  The film was nominated and won multiple awards including an Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling at the 89th Academy Awards, it was the first film in the DCEU to win an Academy Award.

“Suicide Squad” 2 is expected to film in Atlanta, Georgia this fall and hit theaters on August 6, 2021.

“Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek reveals he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

On Wednesday, the longtime “Jeopardy” host revealed he has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Trebek said in a video posted on YouTube he will attempt to finish the current season of the long-time running trivia game show.

“Just like 50,000 other people in the United States each year, this week, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer,” he said.

“Now, normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working, ” he said in the video. “And with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rates statistics for this disease.”

Who is Alex Trebek?

Alex Trebek has hosted Jeopardy since 1984. In October 2018, he renewed his contract with Sony Pictures Television to continue as the show’s host until 2022.

Pat Sajak, the host of “Wheel of Fortune” said that he would never “bet” against Alex Trebek.

“The Sajak family is deeply saddened to hear of Alex Trebek’s struggle with cancer,” he said in a tweet. “Our hearts go out to him and his family. But there is no one I know who is stronger and more determined, and I would never bet against him. We, and the entire country, are pulling for you, Alex.”

What is Pancreatic Cancer?

According to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all cancers with 91 percent of patients dying within five years of diagnosis. It is also the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths. The American Cancer Society says about 56,770 will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019 and 45,750 people will die of pancreatic cancer this year.
