‘Term Life’ centers on a guy wanted around town by the Mafia and various hit men hopes to stay alive long enough for his life insurance policy to kick in and pay out for his estranged daughter.
Casting directors are seeking talent to work Thursday, April 10th and Friday, April 11th in the Stone Mountain area. They are looking for extras ages 18 to 30’s available to work both days.

Nick Cannon Gets Booed Out of Madison Square Garden [VIDEO]

Nick Cannon appeared at an April 2nd New York Knicks game with America’s Got Talent as a publicity stunt, and well to say the least, it did not go well.

The appearance was not to promote his new album, “White People Party Music” but for the television series “America’s Got Talent” and New York Knicks fans were going to let the world know how they feel about it.

The crowd was instructed to “go crazy” and well, the crowd kind of went crazy. The only problem was that they didn’t go in the way that they were probably hoping for. Ultimately, it created a giant problem.

It was hard enough to watch the footage of what happened to Nick Cannon from my computer, I can only imagine how it must feel to be Nick Cannon.

The “Anchorman 2” No-Jokes Version is Surprisingly Good [VIDEO]

Director Adam McKay shot so much extra footage for “Anchorman 2” that he was able to recreate an entirely different version of the movie. So he created a “no joke” version of “Anchorman 2”.

The clip claims to be a sequel of 2004’s “Anchorman” that’s “coming soon”. It essnetially has a dramatic, and ominous music with a heated argument between Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate. The argument is over Veronica’s booming news career, and what it would mean for their relationship.

The director, McKay explained his creative decision in a press release.

“People know that Will and I do many joke options for our movies, but I think what gets lost is the fact that underneath the laughs there’s a very powerful drama at work,” the director wrote. “Movies like ‘Sophie’s Choice,’ ‘Ordinary People,’ and ‘Breaking the Waves‘ are the movies that inspire Will and me. I’m just glad, with the no-joke cut, audiences can finally appreciate the rawness and drama of ‘Anchorman 2.'”

The no jokes version actually did look pretty interesting. But, don’t worry the “Anchorman 2”, the all jokes version is out on DVD and Bluray right now!

 

“Haunted House 2” Red Band Movie Trailer is Actually Pretty Creative

If you look past all of the tired scary movie jokes, the new trailer for A Haunted House 2 is actually pretty funny.

It takes those cheesy Facebook personal “movies” that everyone created and turned them into a hilarious movie trailer.

The previous Haunted House movie made 59 million dollars with only a 2.5 million dollar budget. So, in an effort to cash in on the “Haunted House” movies, Hollywood is making a sequel.

The feature film features Jaime Pressly, Cedric the Entertainer and the whole cast and crew from the first one!

Most parents’ videos of their kids are boring.

But, Daniel Hashimoto, who is a Dreamworks animator as well as a father, has been putting his animation skills to use with the help of his 3-year-old son.

A trip to Toys-R-Us turns into an epic Star Wars battle. Jumping from couch to couch becomes an action sequence with a real lava swamp. This is great stuff, and after seeing these videos, I’m hoping that one day I can get my Adobe photoshop skills to do more than just copy and paste.

The movie is set to open on August 8th.

“Banecat” is hilarious!

When we first saw the video about “Banecat” we thought it was going to be a corny parody of the Batman movie. But, after watching a few seconds into the video it was way funnier than I even expected.

The hilarious cat in a Bane costume basically seals the deal but, when you see the full costume it makes the whole 2 minutes completely worth watching.

“Let’s Be Cops” movie trailer is finally here.

After filming in Atlanta last summer the feature film “Let’s Be Cops” finally receives a movie trailer and it’s pretty hilarious.

Have you ever wondered how well Damon Wayans Jr. would do in a comedy? The result is Let’s Be Cops, which features Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans as a pair of 30-something losers with no jobs and/or women, decide to dress up like cops!

As the new red band trailer for Let’s Be Cops illustrates, the possibilities for becoming a cop are endless and exciting. In June of last year, filming was in full swing and CL Casting was looking for speaking roles and background extra roles.

Did you know parts of the “Wolf of Wall Street” Movie was filmed on an iPhone?

In an interview with Martin Scorsese, the director of The Wolf of Wall Street, he discussed how they tried to cut back on the production costs by filming certain scenes with an iPhone.

The interview was with Adam Somner the assistant director and it occurred at the ICM in Century City.

Los Angeles had a 4.4 magnitude earthquake this Morning morning, and KTLA anchors Megan Henderson and Chris Schauble were caught on the air and it was recorded on live television.

Unfortunately for them, the unintentionally hilarious reaction see below, has gone viral.

Anchor Chris Schauble face read “earthquake” way before his mouth could utter the words.

The Sunset Blvd. studio where KTLA is filmed was visibly shaken, and their reactions were priceless and most likely very warranted. At any rate the video could be used as a “what to d0” during an earthquake infomercial.

So we sat down and talked to several casting directors and asked them why most actors do not get a call back or do not book the role.

Basically, most of the casting directors commented on the fact that there are a ton of reasons why most actors do not get a call back. Essentially, it can come down to what they look like, how they walk, and a list of things most actors cannot control.

So, the next time you have an audition. Don’t worry about it. It is most likely not your acting abilities, but something else that you cannot even predict or control.
