According to Deadline, Rachel Brosnahan, who is known as the award-winning star of Amazon’s hit series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, will be reteaming with the studio on I’m Your Woman. Brosnahan will star in and produce with Oscar-nominated La La Land and The Kids Are All Right producer Jordan Horowitz.

The movie star Tom Holland, Ciara Bravo, Bill Skarsgard, Jack Reynor, Forrest Goodluck, Jeff Wahlberg, Michael Gandolfini and Kyle Harvey. The Russo brothers will direct the movie based on Nico Walker’s New York Times bestselling novel.

“We were drawn to ‘Cherry’ given our personal experience from Cleveland, as well as the important need to share stories like these. As Cleveland natives ourselves, it means a lot to us to be able to film in our hometown. We shot the exteriors for ‘Winter Soldier’ here, we are excited to return home to our roots,” said Anthony and Joe Russo.

The movie centers around the true-life story of a former Army medic who returned from Iraq with extreme undiagnosed PTSD. He becomes addicted to opioids and begins robbing banks. He is caught in 2011 and set to be released in 2020.

“Having just moved back home to Cleveland myself, I’m so excited the Russo brothers are also coming back to film their next project,” said Evan Miller, the new president of the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. “The GCFC worked very closely with the Russo brothers and their production company AGBO to ensure this Cleveland-based story would be filmed in Cleveland. Student Filmmakers Handcuffed By Armed Police While They Filmed a Movie

London student filmmakers were pinned to the ground and handcuffed by armed police officers as they made a “gangster” student film.

According to the Standard, armed police officers responded to the scene following reports had been seen with a weapon. Witnesses said London Screen Academy students were put on the ground by police officers. The students were patted down and released after it was discovered they were using a BB gun during filming.

One of the student filmmakers, Ryan O’Donnell,16, said he begged the police not to shoot.

“We noticed the car pulling up, it was really close to hitting us,” he told the Islington Gazette.

“We had to get out the way. All of a sudden they jumped out. I was like, ‘Please don’t shoot’. I just didn’t want to get shot. It was panicky getting a gun pointed in your face and being told to get down by everyone. I was a little bit shook and I didn’t want to do anything that could get me shot.”

Ryan said he has since been suspended from the film school for a week. The Met Police’s guidelines for filming stipulate that people using fake firearms must get advanced permission, and get a film weapon crime reference number. The guidelines also say that film crews “tell us about any activity involving weapons to prevent the emergency deployment of armed police”.

The LSA is a new film school founded by Barbara Broccoli, who has produced over a dozen James Bond movies and David Heyman, who is the producer of all eight Harry Potter movies.

An LSA spokesman said: “The students in question have learned a very good lesson that everything to do with the filming has to be taken seriously. 

“Disciplinary action has been taken and we apologize to all the authorities involved for any inconvenience caused.”

A Met spokesman said: “Firearms officers attended the scene and a group of school children were stopped and spoken to. A BB gun was recovered and school staff has been informed; they will be dealing with the matter. No arrests were made.”

The film titled JUDAS & THE BLACK MESSIAH (formerly JESUS WAS MY HOMEBOY) is preparing to shoot in Cleveland this fall.

Daniel Kaluuya and his Get Out co-star Lakeith Stanfield to star in Jesus Was My Homeboy, a production that tells the true story of Fred Hampton, a Black Panther revolutionary, and activist who was assassinated in 1969.

Daniel Kaluuya will play Fred Hampton, an Illinois-born honors student who was active in the NAACP, brokered a non-aggression pact between two of Chicago’s gangs, coined the phrase “rainbow coalition,” and rose to prominence in the Black Panther Party on both the state and national level. Hampton was assassinated by the FBI and the Chicago Police Department at age 21 during a raid on his apartment.

Lakeith Stanfield will play William O’Neal, a car thief who had his charges dropped by becoming an FBI informant who worked his way into the Black Panthers, eventually becoming Hampton’s bodyguard and turning over a detailed layout of Hampton’s apartment to the authorities, which ultimately contributed to Hampton’s assassination. This film is said to “look at the rise and death of Hampton through O’Neal’s perspective.”
