Sunday’s Season 9 premiere of the hit AMC drama had 6.1 million total viewers, with 3.2 million of those coming from the 18 to 49 demographic. That is down 23% from Season 8 finale and 27 in the key demographic.
Worse yet, the demographic is less than half the 6.5 million that watched the show “live” to see the Season 8 premiere. Last year’s premiere had 11.4 million total viewers, according to Nielsen’s Live Same Day ratings. Sadly, the show’s October 2017 start was already down 35% in comparison to 2016.

That said, The Walking Dead season 9 premiere was popular enough to make it the number 1 cable show this season among the key demographics for the seventh year in a row.

Auditions will be held on October 15, and if cast you will attend a fitting on November 4th, and you will be filming on various days between November 5-9 so your availability should be open. You will work multiple days but not all days. The rate is $250/day and $62.50 for the fitting. There is a possibility of being upgraded to a featured principal role but this will not be decided until the fitting.
