Creative Edge Studios is holding an open casting call for an online promotional video featuring brief scenarios in which people demonstrate the uses of social media to improve and enhance their every day experiences.
WHEN: Auditions will be held July 14th, 10 a.m.-5 p.m
WHERE: Creative Edge Studios, 114 Oakgrove Road, #102, Sterling, VA 20166.
Candidates are encouraged to email headshot and résume prior to the audition date in order to schedule an appointment; send to: [email protected]. On audition day, please bring resume and headshot; script will be provided on site. Feel free to come audition even if an appointment was not scheduled beforehand. Compensation will be $50 for less than a day of shooting. Each on screen appearance will be fairly brief.
Seeking to cast for the following roles:
Taking place outside a concert venue, moving to the inside of a diner.
Steven – late teens/early 20s male, white, hipster cool
Wesley – late teens/early 20s male, black, hipster cool
Waitress – late teens/early 20s female, white, classic 50s style looking (high tight ponytail), very peppy and friendly
Taking place in a hotel room, moving to an outdoor park location
Dad – middle aged male, Asian, wears glasses, lovably dorky
Mom – middle aged female, Asian, not glamorous, more aggressive than father
Kid – male, around age 10, Asian, gawky, a little nerdy
Taking place on a “college campus”, moving into a library
Bobby- college age male, Hispanic, casual/laid-back, baseball cap/t-shirt wearing
Kenny- college age male, white, preppy, more assertive/alpha male
Katy- college age female, short, no race preference, looks like a cheerleader (compact and enthusiastic)
Librarian – 30s/40s female, white, professional, strict/uptight looking, tight bun, glasses
Extras – “young” people (need 3 but won’t be in focus or speaking)
Taking place inside a movie theater lobby
Mason – late 20s/early 30s male, no race preference, relaxed confidence, working professional, brown hair
Samantha – late 20s/early 30s female, no race preference, brunette, shorter than Mason, wide-eyed innocence
Counter worker –mid-late teen male, white, affected youth
Register person – mature female, no race preference, managerial looking, graying hair
Taking place inside a car at night
Dad – middle aged male (could be late 20s/early 30s), white, in control, average looking
Mom – middle aged female (could be late 20s/early 30s), white, skeptical, average looking
2 young kids – could be any gender, will only be sleeping
Taking place inside a mall, moving to the inside of a store
Lindsay – tall female, 16 years old, no race preference, very accessorized and teeny bopper
Rachel – short blonde female, no race preference, 16 years old, the lovable sidekick
Store clerk – mid 20s female, white, friendly, wearing all black

From WASHINGTON DC: Take 66 to toll road (rt 267) west. Take eExit 9 (rt 28 North). Go half a mile. Take old Ox Road exit EAST (rt. 606). Make 3rd left onto Oakgrove Road. Studio is less tan ½ mile down, on the left.
From DULLES AIRPORT: Take Dulles access road east. Go a few miles. Get on Route 28 heading north. Go about a mile. Take Old Ox Road exit EAST (rt. 606). Make 3rd left onto Oakgrove Road. Studio is less than a ½ mile down, on the left.
From WEST (rt. 7): Take VA-7 East, merge onto VA-28 South/Sully Road toward Dulles Airport/Centreville. In 5 miles, merge onto Old Ox Road exit EAST (rt. 606). Make 3rd left onto Oakgrove Road. Studio is less than a ½ mile down, on the left.
