Job Overview:

We are currently seeking background extras for a feature film project coded “Jiminy,” shooting in Santa Fe, NM. This opportunity is open to males and females of all ethnicities, aged 18-70. Applicants must be local hires, as transportation and accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an evacuee in various scenes, possibly driving a car or RV on camera.
  • Maintain flexibility for schedule changes and long shooting hours into the morning.
  • Follow directions from the film crew and interact with other extras as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older and able to work as a local hire in Santa Fe, NM.
  • Must have a personal vehicle (car, RV, or camper) that can be used on set.
  • Available for a full 12+ hour day shoot on Friday, May 17, 2024, with tentative call time around 3:00 PM.
  • Flexibility for late-night shooting and open availability for schedule changes.
  • Good physical condition to handle long hours and night shoots. If you have any respiratory issues that may be aggravated by fake smoke, please consider your health before applying.

Compensation:

  • $117.00 for the first 8 hours, with overtime at time and a half thereafter.
