‘The Originals’ Season 2 Extras Casting Call for Artsy and Edgy Types in Atlanta

Casting directors for ‘The Originals’ are seeking extras for the second season.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt).

As the series enters into the second season, producers are looking for extras to portray local New Orleans type of people. So producers are looking for edgy and artsy types.

Filming is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7th in Monroe, Georgia.

Calling All Actors in the Los Angeles area, the ABC Casting Department is holding their 2014 Talent Showcase and they are looking for YOU!

The time has come and casting directors are now accepting actor submissions for the 2014 Los Angeles ABC Casting Department’s Talent Showcase.

ABC’s Los Angeles and New York Talent Showcases have been the launching pad for discovering new talent, including Jesse Williams, who currently stars on “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Jackson Avery, and “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Last year, 20 actors were selected from among more than 7000 candidates who submitted their resumes and the 670 who auditioned for ABC casting executives in Los Angeles.

At the 2014 Talent Showcase, the actors will showcase their skills to an audience of industry executives and decision makers. Following the showcase, all twelve actors will be assigned a network executive from the casting department who will act as their mentor and help nurture their skills and provide guidance throughout the year.

The deadline to submit is Friday, June 6, 2014. Please only send hard copy submissions and no phone calls or emails.

Casting directors for FOX’s hit television series ‘Sleepy Hollow’ is currently seeking a little person to work on the production filming in North Carolina.

Casting directors are looking for a little person to work on a scene filming in Wilmington, North Carolina on May 15th. The talent will work as an extra on a night shoot that could last between 12 to 14 hours. Talents should be between 18 to 45 years old.

WILMINGTON, NC- Fox’s Hit series Sleepy Hollow is in search of a Little Person to work a paid extras position in an episode on the second season.

The scene is set to be filmed in Wilmington, NC on May 15th, but that is always subject to change. The extra should be prepared to work a night shoot that could last 12-14 hours. This position will require special effects makeup.

Bradley Cooper looks like he has packed on a ton of muscle fo rhis new role in ‘American Sniper’. It is reported that he has gained 40 pounds and a beard to star as Navy Seal Chris Kyle in Clint Eastwood’s new movie that is based is on a true story.

Cooper’s co-star, Eric Close, recently spoke to E! News about Cooper’s transformation. “He put on like 40 pounds,” Close said. “He really takes this story personally and wants to do an honorable job for Chris’ memory and for his family.”

Bradley Cooper has seriously buffed up for his new role in “American Sniper.” He reportedly gained 40 pounds and grew a beard to star as Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in Clint Eastwood’s new movie, based on a true story.

‘Insurgent’ Movie Casting Call for Athletic Men and Women in Atlanta

The sequel to ‘Divergent’, ‘Insurgent’ is now casting talent to appear in the upcoming movie.

If you don’t know, the films are based on the books in Veronica Roth’s best selling trilogy about Tris, a 16 year old living in a dystopia and does not fit in anyone of the society’s five factions.

Although Divergent was primarily filmed in Los Angeles and Chicago, where the stories are set, Insurgent and Allegiant will primarily be filmed in Atlanta starting in May.

The upcoming production has been code-named “Mineral” in order to protect the production of the feature film.

Insurgent will hit theaters on March 20, 2015. The release date for Allegiant is March 18, 2016.

Casting directors are seeking men and women that have athletic bodies with wild looks. Such as unconventional hair styles, mohawks, tattoos, and piercings.

If selected talents will have to undergo a boot camp with a Navy Seal.

“Sleepy Hollow” Season 2 is now casting undead revolutionary war soldiers for a scene filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Ashli Bogart Extras Casting are looking for men to portray “Undead Revolutionary Era soldiers”. Casting directors are looking for Caucasian males ages 18 to 50 for roles in the television series.

Producers hinted that there will be new villains coming in to Sleepy Hollow for Ichabod and Co. to worry about. Though they were coy, they shared some details as to who will be joining the war. “War doesn’t work by itself,” co-creator/executive producer Roberto Orci teased. “There are a lot of amazing foot soldiers coming, familiar and also original.”

Production for the USA Network series ‘Satisfaction’ is ramping up production in Atlanta.

The new drama on the USA network is described as a “provocative drama that explores modern marriage at its midpoint.”  The new television series features Matt Passmore (“The Glades”) as Neil Truman and Stephanie Szostack, (“The Devil Wears Prada”) as Grace.

“Snowfall”: Showtime and John Singleton TV Series Recreate the 1980’s Drug Trade

Showtime plans on creating a new television series that centers on the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles.

John Singleton is returning to the era of his debut feature film Boyz In The Hood with a new television series, Snowfall.

According to Deadline, the drama series is set to premiere on Showtime.

Singleton is set to direct and co-write the project, co-written by Eric Amadio. The two executive produce with Michael London and Underground’s Trevor Engelson and Evan Silverberg.

The new television series will center on the start of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles told through the eyes of a young black kid from Compton, a Mexican wrestler and a CIA agent charged with running the money to the Mexican drug lords.

The new television series is described as being filmed in the same way as Boyz IN the Hood, which earned Los Angeles native Singleton writing and director nominations several years ago.

My All American will be holding an open casting call in Austin, Texas fro background roles in the movies.

‘True Detective’ Director Teams with John Legend for ‘The Black Count’ Feature Film

HBO’s “True Detective” director will team up with John Legend for a new feature film.

Since the hit series ‘True Detective’ Cary Fukunaga has become one of the most sought after director’s in Hollywood. According to Deadline, he is teaming with John Legend and his Get Lifted Film Co. partner Mike Jackson, to create a feature film version of  The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, And The Real Count of Monte Cristo for Sony.

Get Lifted have optioned the Pulitzer-winning 2012 biography written by Tom Reiss that chronicles the life and adventures of French Revolution-era General Thomas-Alexandre Dumas. Jackson and Ty Stiklorius will produce the pic with Fukunaga’s Parliament of Owls. Legend, his manager Troy Carter and Sony’s Josh Bratman will serve as executive producers.

“Cary’s exceptional talent as a writer/director will bring to life all of the action and drama that have made The Black Count such a compelling read,” Michael De Luca, who is overseeing the pic for Sony told me today. “He’s got a great take on the material and we’re thrilled to be working with him, John, Thais, Troy and Mike,” added the Columbia Pictures President of Production.

The movie centers on a French nobleman and a salve woman from Africa. Dumas becomes the highest ranking person of color to ever serve in any European army. Dumas was also the first non-white to become a brigadier general in the French Military. Dumas’ accomplishments were used as the basis for the novels written by his son, Alexandre Dumas the writer of The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo.

CW ‘The Originals’ Season 2 Casting Call for Werewolves

Casting directors and producers for The Originals are now seeking extras to portray werewolves in the TV series filming in Atlanta.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.

Casting directors are seeking men to portray werewolves on the television series.

FOX ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 Casting Call for Nicole Beharie’s Stand In

Casting directors and producers are now casting talent to work on the second season of ‘Sleepy Hollow’.

Ashli Bogart Extras Casting are looking for men to portray Revolutionary Era soldiers. Casting directors are looking for Caucasian males ages 18 to 50 for roles in the television series.

Producers hinted that there will be new villains coming in to Sleepy Hollow for Ichabod and Co. to worry about. Though they were coy, they shared some details as to who will be joining the war. “War doesn’t work by itself,” co-creator/executive producer Roberto Orci teased. “There are a lot of amazing foot soldiers coming, familiar and also original.”
