Casting directors for ‘The Originals’ are seeking extras for the second season for several roles in the CW Network production.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt).

These casting calls are not live shows but, the purpose of the photo shoot is to show product results “before” and “after” on models.

Talents will be compensated between $90 to $150 per show.

This is a B&A (Before and After Photo Casting). These are not live shows. B&A photos are shot in one half day. The purpose is to show product results “before” and “after” on models.

B&A Shoots Generally Pay In The Range of

CW Network Adds ‘Flash’, ‘Messengers’, ‘iZombie’, and ‘Jane The Virgin’ to the Network

The CW network has recently added three new television series to their line-up.

One of the most talked about television productions include Warner Bros. Television’ The Flash. The new TV series based on the DC comic book series, The Flash, and centers on the scientist Barry Allen played by Grant Gustin, who is given the power of super speed, which transform him into the Fastest Man Alive.

The new series features Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Jesse L. Martin, Rick Cosnett, and Danielle Panabaker. The pilot was directed by David Nutter and produced by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, David Nutter, and Melissa Kellner Berman.

‘Jane The Virgin’ is the next television series picked up by The CW Network. The series is based on the successful Venezuelan telenovela and centers on the unforeseen events causes a hard-working, religious young Latina woman to be accidentally artificially inseminated.

‘The Messengers’ was another big production soon to premiere on the CW Network. The Messengers focuses on a mysterious object that crashes down to earth and a group of unconnected strangers die from the energy pulse, but then awaken to learn that they must stop the Apocalypse.

‘iZombie’  is a new series from Warner Bros. Television featuring the writers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero. The show focuses on a med student-turned-zombie shot ames a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must eat to survive. But, with each brain she eats, she absorbs the memories. With the help of the medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves cases using the disturbing voices in her head. The show is based on the DC Comics’ ‘Vertigo’.

 

ABC Adds Shonda Rhimes Drama, New Marvel Series, Selfies, and Rom-Coms to their Line Up

ABC has picked up several new television pilots to join their 2014-2015 lineup.

One of the biggest shows to be picked up by ABC is the Shonda Rhimes’ new drama series ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ starring Viola Davis.

Davis stars as Professor Annalise Keating, who teaches a class called “How to Get Away With Murder.” Little does she know that she, along with four of her law students, will have to apply what they’ve learned into real life.

“How to Get Away With Murder” also features Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Katie Findlay, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber and Liza Weil.

Another big show, that ABC picked up for their new lineup is a new Marvel television series “Marvel’s Agent Carter”. The new show centers on the story of Peggy Carter.

It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve),  Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers.

The television series is based on the hit movie series and comics “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.

“Forever” is another show that ABC has picked up a series pilot order. The series focuses on a doctor that solves murder mysteries while trying to understand why he can live forever. Only his best friend and confidant, Abe, knows Henry’s secret. The television series features Gruffudd from ‘Fantastic Four’.

Another television series that looks like it may connect with audiences is “Selfie”. The television series features Karen Gillan (photo below) as a social media “famous” celebrity Eliza Dooley, who has a ton of followers who hang on and listen to her every post, tweet and selfie. But, one day she realizes that having a ton of followers does not actually mean you have a ton of friends.  She then asks a marketing guru played by John Cho, to ‘rebrand’ her self-obsessed reputation and teach her how to connect with people in the real world.

“Manhattan Love Story” is another pilot that was picked up for a series order. According to the wrap, it resembles a romantic comedy that centers on people going out on their first dates.

“Manhattan Love Story,” meanwhile, explores the question, Have you ever wondered what your date was thinking?  This romantic comedy exposes the differences between men and women through the unfiltered thoughts, and often contradictory actions, of a new couple who have just begun dating.

Cinemax ‘Banshee’ Casting Call for a Featured Role in North Carolina

Cinemax hit television series, ‘Banshee’, is currently seeking talents for a featured role in the television series.

From the creator of ‘True Blood,’ ‘Banshee’ stars Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he continues his criminal activities, even as he’s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier (Cinemax).

Casting directors are looking for a male actor to portray a loading dock extra. Filming is scheduled for Friday, May 9th in Wilmington, North Carolina.

“Triple Nine” Starring Hollywood’s Elite Now Filming in Atlanta

The next big heist film, ‘Triple Nine’ is setting up for production in Atlanta with an all-star cast.

‘Triple Nine’ is the latest production from Open Road Films which features Casey Affleck, Norman Reedus, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer and from the cast of Batman Vs Superman, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman).

Triple Nine

 

The movie is written by matt Cook and centers on a crew of dirty cops.

 A crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist. The only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down.” Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action-packed finale filled with double-crosses, greed and revenge (Deadline)

Extras Casting Atlanta is doing the background casting for the movie and posted a casting call for featured roles in the movie. Casting directors are looking for “Orthodox Jewish types — For a couple of very featured extra spots in a Kosher meat processing plant.” ECA is also looking for a possible Rabbi that might be interested in working as an advisor in regards to some kosher processes.

LeBron James Joins the Cast of the Universal’s “Trainwreck”

LeBron James is on fire! After defeating the Brooklyn Nets last night in the opening game of the second round of the NBA semifinals, James tweeted that he has join the cast of the new movie Trainwreck.

Trainwreck is Universal comedy that Judd Apatow will direct and will feature Method Man (Cliff Smith),  Amy Schumer. James joins her, Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Bayer, Tilda Swinton, John Cena and Mike Birbiglia.

Amy Schumer wrote the script for this production but, details surrounding the movie are being kept under wraps.

This is LeBron James second feature film that he has lined up. The first production, Ballers, features Kevin Hart and highlights the early years of LeBron James and his high school teammates. Ballers is produced by Terence and Winter, along side James’ manager, Maverick Carter.

But, will LeBron James‘ film career end up being a Trainwreck? Not many basketball players have ended up with a successful film career besides Michael Jordan (Space Jam) and Ray Allen (I Got Game). Shaquille O’Neal is still teased about his work in the movie Kazaam.

New ‘Flintstones’ Movie is Now in Development and Coming Soon to Theaters

The ‘Flintstones’ is coming back to a theater near you.

Warner Bros. is bringing “The Flintstones” back as an animated featured, according to Deadline.

The project is currently in development and details surrounding the production have not been released. However, Chris Henchy from Will Ferrell production company, Gary Sanchez Productions, is currently working on the script.

The ‘Flintstones’ features America’s favorite caveman family. The cartoon series made it’s first appearance on the big screen in 1994 with a live action version starring John Goodman. The movie would later do a sequel with “The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas,” in 2000.

This is the first of what is expected of many reboots for Warner Bros. TheWrap reports that executives are considering a “Scooby-Doo” and “Looney Tunes” remake.

‘Insurgent’ Movie Casting Call for Fit Men in Atlanta

The sequel to ‘Divergent’, ‘Insurgent’ is now casting fit men to appear in the upcoming movie.

If you don’t know, the films are based on the books in Veronica Roth’s best selling trilogy, Divergent, about Tris, a 16 year old living in a dystopia and does not fit in anyone of the society’s five factions.

The upcoming production has been code-named “Mineral” in order to protect the production of the feature film.

Insurgent will hit theaters on March 20, 2015. The release date for Allegiant is March 18, 2016.

ABC’s Los Angeles and New York Talent Showcases have been the launching pad for discovering new talent, including Jesse Williams, who currently stars on “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Jackson Avery, and “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Last year, 20 actors were selected from among more than 7000 candidates who submitted their resumes and the 670 who auditioned for ABC casting executives in Los Angeles.

At the 2014 Talent Showcase, the actors will showcase their skills to an audience of industry executives and decision makers. Following the showcase, all twelve actors will be assigned a network executive from the casting department who will act as their mentor and help nurture their skills and provide guidance throughout the year.

The deadline to submit is Friday, June 6, 2014. Please only send hard copy submissions and no phone calls or emails.

FOX ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 Casting Call for a Little Person in North Carolina

Casting directors for FOX’s hit television series ‘Sleepy Hollow’ is currently seeking a little person to work on the production filming in North Carolina.

Casting directors are looking for a little person to work on a scene filming in Wilmington, North Carolina on May 15th. The talent will work as an extra on a night shoot that could last between 12 to 14 hours. Talents should be between 18 to 45 years old.

WILMINGTON, NC- Fox’s Hit series Sleepy Hollow is in search of a Little Person to work a paid extras position in an episode on the second season.

The scene is set to be filmed in Wilmington, NC on May 15th, but that is always subject to change. The extra should be prepared to work a night shoot that could last 12-14 hours. This position will require special effects makeup.

Bradley Cooper looks like he has packed on a ton of muscle fo rhis new role in ‘American Sniper’. It is reported that he has gained 40 pounds and a beard to star as Navy Seal Chris Kyle in Clint Eastwood’s new movie that is based is on a true story.

Cooper’s co-star, Eric Close, recently spoke to E! News about Cooper’s transformation. “He put on like 40 pounds,” Close said. “He really takes this story personally and wants to do an honorable job for Chris’ memory and for his family.”

Casting directors are now seeking actors for a major feature film, filming in New Mexico.

Midthunder Casting is looking for men and women ages 40’s to 50’s that are actual bikers to play outlaw biker gang members. Producers are seeking actors that have tattoos, leather, scars, long hair, shaved heads, beards, etc. for the production.

Casting directors will be holding an open casting call on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

REAL BIKERS ONLY.
Please bring photos of your bike(s) if you have them.

These roles are speaking roles paid at SAG scale.
PAY RATE:
$859.00 per 8-hour day or $2979 per week (+ overtime)

‘Insurgent’ Movie Casting Call for Athletic Men and Women in Atlanta

The sequel to ‘Divergent’, ‘Insurgent’ is now casting talent to appear in the upcoming movie.

If you don’t know, the films are based on the books in Veronica Roth’s best selling trilogy about Tris, a 16 year old living in a dystopia and does not fit in anyone of the society’s five factions.

Although Divergent was primarily filmed in Los Angeles and Chicago, where the stories are set, Insurgent and Allegiant will primarily be filmed in Atlanta starting in May.

The upcoming production has been code-named “Mineral” in order to protect the production of the feature film.

Insurgent will hit theaters on March 20, 2015. The release date for Allegiant is March 18, 2016.

Casting directors are seeking men and women that have athletic bodies with wild looks. Such as unconventional hair styles, mohawks, tattoos, and piercings.

If selected talents will have to undergo a boot camp with a Navy Seal.
