Adam Richman from ‘Man Vs. Food’ has his show cancelled after Instagram comments.

Adam Richman‘s new show ‘Man Finds Food‘ was supposed to premiere on July 2nd but the show was indefinitely postponed after the host’s comments on Instagram.

The Travel Channel has not reported when the show would air.

“The show will not be airing on July 2,” Richman, the “Man vs. Food” host, said on Facebook. “Still waiting for a airing date for the show. Stay tune (sic) MFF fans!”

Adam Richman drew outrage in response to fans criticizing his use of the hashtage #thinspiration.

“Had ordered this suit from a Saville Row tailor over a year ago. Think I’m gonna need to take it in a little…#thinspiration” he wrote.

Instagram users immediately called him out for using the word which is used in pro-anorexia groups. After the coomment Richman began lashing out on others.

“Maybe you’ll acknowledge that just because someone is on TV, they are no less worthy of human kindness, respect, forgiveness or patience,” he told one user. “Give me a f—ing break. If anyone acts like a c— I’ll call them one. It’s not misogyny, it’s calling a spade a spade…if my use of the hashtag offended you, it was unintentional & for that I’m sorry.”

He also told a user to commit suicide.

“Grab a razor blade and draw a bath,” he wrote. “I doubt anyone will miss you.”

Richman later apologized and deleted all of his Instagram messages related to the incident.

FOX Cancels ‘Hieroglyphs’ Before it Even Premiered

FOX Cancels the new series ‘Hieroglyphs‘ before it even aired

The new adventure drama Hieroglyph, which previously bypassed the pilot stage and had been given a 13 episode series order by FOX has now been cancelled.

The series was created by Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim) was scheduled to debut later on this year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, only the first episode of Hieroglyph had been filmed before FOX decided that the storylines and plans for the series wasn’t “meeting a certain level of creatively.”

The Hieroglyph’s series order, came around during the ex-entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly argued to change the standard pilot process for new shows. Reilly stepped down as chairman at the end of last May in what was commented as a “voluntary” decision. Although reports show that Reilly had been arguing against FOX Networks Group CEO Peter Rice over certain show cancellation decisions.

It is rumored that Hieroglyph was one of Reilly’s passion projects. Now there is no replacement lined up.

Here’s the trailer for Hieroglyph:

10 Actors Who Don’t Watch the Movies They Are In

0

These 10 actors don’t watch the movies that they are in

It may seem pretty crazy to us, but it’s pretty common among many top actors to have never seen their own movies. But, the reasons for this vary.

Many actors are often insecure about their work and most of them don’t want to see their face projected on a movie screen to be overanalyzed and critiqued by movie critics.

Other actors worry that watching themselves on screen will somehow negatively effect future movie roles. If an actor is too critical of themselves they may become too self-aware of how they look from the outside and it may affect whether or not they take another role in the future.

You would assume that most actors would be excited to see the final product of a movie they have been spending long days and nights making, but for many professional actors that is not the case. Some actors simply enjoy acting, but not the movie itself. Once they are done shooting a production they are moving on to the next project.

Two actors that technically do watch their own films but don’t seem thrilled about it include Tom Hanks, and Robert DeNiro.

Tom Hanks was asked in an interview which one of his old movies does he enjoy to watch again:

Oh, I don’t watch any of my old movies. The one that I might watch with great affection is a little movie I directed, That Thing You Do, which I’m not in that much. I loved doing it so much that when I watch it now it still brings a smile to my face. I don’t watch my own performances – who does that? That would be madness. I’ve seen all the movies once, but I don’t need to see them again, because they don’t change.

Robert De Niro agreed and said watching himself in a movie is boring.”I don’t like to watch my own movies— I fall asleep in my own movies.” This almost seems hard to believe with cult classics like The Godfather and Taxi Driver how can you fall asleep?

Here are 10 actors that don’t watch their own movies

10. Andrew Garfield

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter for the movie Never Let Me GoAndrew Garfield told reporters that “I haven’t actually seen the movie. I try not to.” Garfield fears that he’ll learn or see something about himself which will mess with his head. He added, “I don’t want to be aware of what I’m doing. As soon as I am, I’m less open.” However, he was pressured by the makers of The Social Network to attend a screening of the film, “They made me watch that one,” he admits.

9. Jared Leto

Jared Leto won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Dallas Buyers Club, but he probably never even saw what he looked like in the movie. Despite playing a unique and challenging role, Jared Leto said that process of making movies is different for him in comparison to other actors.

Well, the experience for me making a film is the most profound one. I really don’t have any business watching the movie so much. Maybe I could watch it for entertainment purposes, but you have so little input and control of the final product once you’re done that I feel like I just would rather leave it alone. It kind of leaves me in a place where every film I do, I’m kind of having to reinvent and figure out how to start again fresh, and hopefully not repeat myself.

8. Julianne Moore

Moore is one of those actors that is more interested in acting than filmmaking. Julianne Moore is more likely to walk the red carpet during the premiere and leave before the movie begins.

I haven’t seen any of my own movies… I can’t sit there for a premiere or anything. I like being in the movie more than I like watching them. That’s my big thrill, rather than seeing the finished product.

7. Megan Fox

Megan Fox from the Transformers movies admitted that she is really insecure about seeing herself on the big screen. Despite being a huge sex symbol she still feels vulnerable seeing herself on the big screen.

I never (look at myself), even in still photographs. I don’t look at anything. I panic if there is a monitor in the room I immediately go into like an anxiety attack. I’m insecure, I think most actors are pretty insecure.

She admitted that she did see Transformers 2. But, she admitted it took an entire glass of champagne, so that she could get through it.

6. Joaquin Phoenix

The Hollywood A-List actor known for Signs and Her, admits that he is interested in seeing what he looks like on camera. But, at the end of the day he feels that it will negatively effect him in all future productions.

I just think there’s a number of dangers in [watching yourself]. … I don’t ever really want to see myself as the camera sees me … I don’t want to watch myself. Of course, there’s a part of you that’s curious for a second, and I constantly have to tell myself, ‘No,’ because it stands a greater chance of having a negative effect on future work.

5. Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman admitted that when she was filming on a particular movie she was unable to get emotionally connected the character and feared what she would look like on screen. So instead of watching the movie, she decided to just never watch the movie at all.

I can’t look at this movie and be proud of what I’ve done. I sat there and I looked at (husband) Keith (Urban) and went, ‘Am I any good in this movie?” It’s just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all.

4. Harrison Ford

Despite working on some of the biggest movies in Hollywood history, Harrison Ford admitted that he has never seen his work on the Indiana Jones series.

3. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is not that interested to see how her movies turn out. Pointing out that:

I like the process of doing them more than watching them. I don’t really like to watch movies. But I love to watch Brad’s movies…

She pointed out while filming the action movie ‘Wanted’ she did not feel that connected the production to watch it.

I never like to watch myself ever. I still haven’t seen Wanted. I heard it was fun. I feel like I did something right if I can watch something and feel removed enough. I can watch this movie. I’m proud of this. I think it’s a really beautiful film. You’d have to ask Brad, but I think he likes this one.

Jesse+Eisenberg+Cinema+Society+Screening+Social+Sp5sioI6ljCl

2. Jesse Eisenberg

While promoting his new movie The Double during an appearance on The David Letterman Show, Jesse Eisenberg revealed that he hasn’t seen the movie, nor any other movie he has worked on. Just like Andrew Garfield he admitted that he was forced to watch The Social Network.

We had to go to a public screening of The Social Network at Lincoln Center, and I hated it. I mean, I know it’s a good movie because people say it, but I can’t look at my face.

But, what’s even more interesting is that he does not watch movies at all.

I’ve watched one movie in the past several years…

I just stopped watching movies altogether. So I’m not aware of anything that’s going on in the movies right now. I don’t know. I just stopped watching them.

1. Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp admitted that he has never seen any of the movies he has been in.

In a way, once my job is done on a film, it’s really none of my business. I stay as far away as I possibly can… I don’t like watching myself.

So in other words, Depp has barely seen any Tim Burton movies?

I made a choice a long time ago, that I was better off not watching my films, which is a drag because you miss out on a lot of your friends’ incredible work. But I feel like it would just harm me. I would rather stay as ignorant as possible about the result of anything because once you’re done playing that character, it’s really not your business anymore.

Shia LaBeouf Checks Himself into Rehab

0

Shia Labeouf Checks Himself into Celebrity Rehab Center in Hollywood, California.

It was only a matter of time before it happened. Following his arrest last Thursday night and all of the crazy incidents involving Shia LaBeouf, it is reported that he has checked himself into a “celebrity treatment facility in Hollywood,” according to X17 Online.

That would seem like the next best step for an actor who was seen chasing a homeless man and picking fights with strangers in New York City.

We followed the actor from his Hollywood Hills home, just an hour ago, to a private facility where other stars have sought treatment — driven by someone believed to be from the rehab facility. When the car arrived at the gated drive to the center, a nurse and security guard were there to great Shia. In fact, earlier in the day when we spotted Shia in his driveway, we noticed his was carrying the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Blue Book.

Our photographer tells us: “Shia was nervous; he didn’t look good all morning. He was looking down and wasn’t even talking to his driver. It looked like he didn’t want to do it, but he knew he had to.” (Via X17 Online)

LaBeouf we are pulling for you. We wish you a quick and speedy recovery. With the recent success of ‘Transformers’, maybe Michael Bay has a special role for you?

Erykah Badu Tries to Kiss a Reporter Live on TV

Singer, Erykah Badu crashes a live broadcast in New York City

Mario Diaz, from New York’s PIX11, was reporting on Shia LaBeouf when singer Erykah Badu, wearing an awkwardly large hat, walks by and she tries to crash the live broadcast and give Diaz a kiss.

Badu later apologized to Diaz on Twitter, but she did not explain why she decided to play a prank on him.

Mario Diaz replied to her with lyrics from Prince’s “Kiss.”

Diaz’s wife and two-year-old were there with him when Badu tried to get a smooch. His wife does not care/is amused.

This is not the first time this happened to Diaz, according to Pix11:

In 1993, while announcing the second title fight between heavyweights Evander Holyfield and Riddick Bowe at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, a paraglider crashed a few feet away from Diaz’s broadcast position.

A few years later, Diaz was photobombed by Tiger Woods while doing a report prior to his first professional victory.

‘8 Mile’ Movie Shows Extras Battling for Screen Time [VIDEO]

‘8 Mile’ movie outtakes show extras battling for screen time in the movie

These ‘8 Mile‘ outtakes really show how incredible Eminem was on set the movie. During the production of the rap battle scenes, the director hired dozens of extras to work on the movie. After several days of filming, the extras got bored with being on the set and often tired of hearing the same routines over and over again.

Then, the director noticed that a lot of the extras in the crowd were rapping between the scenes and decided to hold a rap competition for a chance to be in the movie. After a few days of competitions, four lucky actors were selected to battle Eminem in the movie.

At first, Eminem was told that he would just pantomime rapping in order to save his voice. But, the crowd started to make fun of him. By, the time the second rapper battled, Eminem started improvising and battled rapped against his once background extra, turned rapper/actor.

This is a great video to see a behind the scenes look into filming of 8-mile and how a director connected with the crew on set and created an amazing improvisational performance.

Aaliyah’s Family Does Not Approve of the Upcoming Lifetime Biopic

0

Lifetime’s Aaliyah biopic has received protests from the late R&B singer’s family and fans since the production was announced several weeks ago.

According to TheWrap, there have been reported attacks on Zendaya, the Disney star who was recently cast to play Aaliyah. Not to mention several online petitions were created aimed at closing down the production for the TV movie. But, at the end of the day there is nothing fans can do to stop the movie from happening.

Now, Aaliyah‘s family has decided to step in and perhaps shut down the production for good.

“Because we control the masters [to Aaliyah‘s recordings], the rights and some images of the musical elements that we put together like the videos, and photo shoots and things that we did, what we can just withhold those elements from the production, which we would do,” Aaliyah’s cousin and president of Blackground Records — the record label that released all of her songs — Jomo Hankerson, told TheWrap.

This could certainly stop the Lifetime movie from ever progressing forward, but at the same time Zendaya, who is a trained singer can still cover several of Aaliyah‘s songs. Blackground Records may own Aaliyah‘s recordings, but they do not own they publishing rights for the songs. Timbaland, Missy Elliott and Static Major own a large majority of those legal rights and they would have the ability to license the lyrics to Lifetime.

Hankerson commented that she has no problem with Zendaya. “I think she’s a lovely young girl,” he said. “I have a problem with the whole production, so casting would be a part of it. But I never wanted to single her out, because I think that she’s a good, young actress and that she’s just trying to take an opportunity that was presented to her.”

Ultimately, it seems as though the family is upset that their singer’s life is portrayed on the Lifetime Network and not on the big screen. Moreover, Lifetime never reached out to the family for help in the production process.

“It’s the wrong forum for the project, for the first project of her life,” he said. “I believe that she’s a cultural icon for us, that she was legendary in her short career. I think it was obvious, the career track that she was headed on, and I think that you still see her influence in today’s music.”

Aaliyah was an American recording artist, dancer, actress, and model. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 10, she appeared on the television show Star Search and performed in concert alongside Gladys Knight. At age 12, Aaliyah signed with Jive Records and her uncle Barry Hankerson’s Blackground Records. Hankerson introduced her to R. Kelly, who became her mentor, as well as lead songwriter and producer of her debut album, Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number. The album was certified double platinum . After facing allegations of an illegal marriage with R. Kelly, Aaliyah ended her contract with Jive and signed with Atlantic Records.

Aaliyah worked with record producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott for her second album, One in a Million; it sold 3.7 million copies in the United States and over eight million copies worldwide.

In 2000, Aaliyah appeared in her first major film, Romeo Must Die. She contributed to the film’s soundtrack, which spawned the single “Try Again“. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 solely on airplay, making Aaliyah the first artist in Billboard history to achieve this feat. “Try Again” earned AaliyahGrammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocalist. After completing Romeo Must Die, Aaliyah filmed her part in Queen of the Damned. She released her third and final album, Aaliyah, in July 2001.

On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah and eight others were killed in a plane crash in The Bahamas after filming the music video for the single “Rock the Boat“.
