Brady Bunch Actress Ann B. Davis dies at 88

Ann B. Davis, an Emmy-award winning actress died Sunday after suffering a traumatic fall earlier this week. She was 88.

Ann B. Davis won two Emmys for her role on the 1950’s sitcom, The Bob Cummings Show, but her claim to fame was her role as Alice, the joke-cracking housekeeper on the Brady Bunch.

Ann B. Davis‘ agent told NBC that she fell in the shower on Saturday and became comatose. She died Sunday morning at a hospital in San Antonio.

The Divergent sequel, ‘Insurgent’ posted a casting call seeking extras in Atlanta, Georgia.

‘Insurgent’ centers on Beatrice Prior as she must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart.

‘Insurgent’ features  Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Miles Teller. The upcoming ‘Divergent’ sequel will be directed by Robert Schwentke

The upcoming production has been code-named “Mineral” in order to protect the production of the feature film.

Insurgent will hit theaters on March 20, 2015. The release date for Allegiant is March 18, 2016.

‘Lila Rose’ a feature film filming in Georgia posted a casting call looking for women who can sing.

Producers are looking for Caucasian women that are 20 to 26 with strong singing abilities and have experience acting.

Casting directors for the movie are looking for a group that can sing a cappella and possiblty read a scene or two. The women should have also have a song they would like to sing for the audition as well.

‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ Cancelled After One Season

Arsenio Hall could not make it past the first season as CBS pulls the plug after one season and cancels “The Arsenio Hall Show”.

Jay Leno could not help Arsenio Hall make past the first season. After weeks of discussions, CBS Television has made a decision to cancel and not proceed with a second season of the Arsenio Hall Show, even though he secured a two year deal prior to the show aired it’s first episode, according to Deadline.

Leno even surprised audiences in February to give the news of the show’s renewal. But, CBS later changed their minds.

After a promising first episode, The Arsenio Hall Show quickly faded in the ratings and never bounced back. Despite having top notch celebrities such as Prince and Eddie Murphy, the show would never live up to expectations. CBS even tried changing the executive producers at the show in hopes that it would help. But, nothing could be down.

“While there are many loyal fans of the show, the series did not grow its audience enough to continue,” a CBSTD spokesperson said. “Arsenio is a tremendous talent and we’d like to thank him for all the hard work and energy he put into the show. We’d also like to thank Tribune and all our station group partners for their support of the show.”

The Arsenio Hall Show marked a comeback for the late-night host. Arsenio Hall later commented on the cancellation of the series,  “When I started this adventure with CTD and Tribune, we all knew it would be a challenge – I’m gratified for the year we’ve had and proud of the show we created. I’d like to thank everyone on my staff for rallying around me and striving to make the best show possible every night.”

Revived alongside Ichabod is the infamous Headless Horseman who is on a murderous rampage in present-day Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod quickly realizes that stopping Headless is just the beginning, as the resurrected rider is but the first of theFour Horsemen of the Apocalypse and only one of the many formidable foes that Ichabod must face to protect not only Sleepy Hollow, but the world (FOX).

“The DUFF” the movie posted a casting call looking to cast actors for featured roles in the movie filming in Atlanta.

“The DUFF” centers on Bianca, a high school senior whose life is turned upside down when she finds out she’s been labeled her social group’s DUFF (designated ugly fat friend), a sidekick to her prettier, more popular friends. She becomes determined to reinvent herself, enlisting her fellow DUFFs in a scheme to overthrow Madison, the school’s evil queen.

Marilyn Manson Joins ‘Sons of Anarchy’ for Final Season

Marilyn Manson cast as a white supremacist in the final season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Marilyn Manson, the man who inspired a generation of teenagers rebel and be themselves has been cast in the final season of Sons of Anarchy.

Marilyn Mason will play  white supremacist on FX’s ‘Sons of Anarchy’. The character’s name is Ron Tully, a prison shot-caller who Jax uses to expand his power base.

Marilyn Manson recently commented on joining the cast and crew of ‘Sons of Anarchy’

“Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” said Manson. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

The role may just work out perfectly for Marilyn Manson. He was once accused of being a white supremacist after he was found to have a bunch of Nazi paraphernalia and human skin masks in his home. In 2007, Marilyn Manson was accused of wasting his band’s money on a child’s skeleton, masks made of human skin, and Nazi memorabilia.

Keyboardist Stephen “Pogo” Bier filed a breach of contract lawsuit in August in which he accused Manson of taking cash belonging to the rest of the band to pay for the “sick and disturbing” purchases.

As well as the skeleton and masks, Manson is said to have bought a range of stuffed animals, including a grizzly bear and two baboons.

He is also accused of using band funds to pay for a collection of Nazi memorabilia.

Marilyn Manson, real name Brian Hugh Warner is known for his controversial stage personality which was created by mixing the actress Marilyn Monroe and Manson Family leader Charles Manson.

He is best known for his 1996 album Antichrist Superstar and 1998’s Mechanical Animals, which earned him a reputation for creating a negative influence on young people.

Manson made his film debut in 1997 in David Lynch’s Lost Highway. Since then he has had several cameos including Party Monster, Jawbreaker, Eastbound & Down, and ABC’s Once Upon a Time. 

Marilyn Manson was in works for his directorial debut, Phantasmagoria: The visions of Lewis Carroll. The movie was to star Marilyn Manson as Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice Adventures in Wonderland. But, production was put on indefinite hold after disturbing clips from the movie hit the Internet and viewers were shocked. The response was so bad that sources close to the movie said that “it’s unlikely that the movie will likely ever see the light of day”

Comedy Central TV Pilot ‘Duty’ posted a casting call for extras in Atlanta, Georgia.

Comedy Central has recently given the green light to ‘Duty‘ a new half hour TV pilot from the creators of ‘Happy Endings‘.

‘Duty‘ centers on a Kyle (Mike O’Gorman) a former football star who loses everything and is forced tos tart anew by moving back to his hometown and take a job at the local police force opposite his childhood best friend Lonnie (Gil Ozeri).

‘Duty‘ hails from creator/executive producer David Caspe, writers Matthew and Daniel Libman, executive producer Jamie Tarses and studio Sony Pictures Television.

Production for ‘Duty‘ will start filming on the first week of June. Marinella Hume Casting is currently looking for men and women ages 18 to 20 years old . In addition, casting directors are looking for a “frisky young couple” ages 22 to 28. Actors should be fit and attractive. The scene will feature the couple making out.

Brief in-person interviews will be held by appointment only in San Francisco, Mon 6/2 with second auditions or callbacks Mon 6/9. The shoot will likely be in June or July, date TBD, in SF. If selected for the shoot, the rate is $500 for an up to 10 hr shoot day + $2,000 for usage. Hours for teens will vary, depending on age.

If selected for the interview and/or shoot, you will be sharing how you’ve experienced an improvement in self-confidence as a result of using Invisalign. You must be willing and able to talk about emotions and will explain how this change in self-confidence has manifested, using examples from your own attitudes and behavior.

‘Jane Got a Gun’ starring Natalie Portman posted a casting call for extras in New Mexico.

Robert Baxter Casting is currently looking for extras for a scene filming on June 10th, 11th and 12th in New Mexico.

According to ScreenRant, the Oscar-winning actress of ‘Black Swan‘ is set to produce and star in the upcoming feature film ‘Jane Got a Gun‘, a new Western from Lynne Ramsay.

Lynne Ramsay was the critically acclaimed indie director of ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin‘. ‘Jane Got a Gun‘ will be written by Brian Duffield, whose script appeared on Hollywood’s survey of the best unproduced screenplays.

‘Jane Got a Gun‘ centers on the story of a woman who calls on an ex-lover to help defend her farm and protect her wounded husband, whose gang of outlaws is out to kill him.

Natalie Portman starred in the psychological thriller Black Swan directed by critically acclaimed director, Darren Aronofsky.Her performance received critical praise and earned her a second Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award, the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award and the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2011.

Casting directors are looking for a fair skinned 10 year old blonde female to appear as a featured extra on an upcoming reshoot.

“The Intern” Starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro Open Casting Call

Warner Bros. “The Intern” starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro posted an open casting call in New York City.

“The Intern” is directed by Nancy Meyers and the story would center on Anne Hathaway starring as the founder of a successful company who, as part of a new program, takes in a senior citizen (De Niro) to be her intern.

The Warner Bros. movie is written by Nancy Meyers. She is a writer and producer, known for The Holiday (2006), Something’s Gotta Give (2003) and It’s Complicated (2009). Meyers also directed the critically acclaimed movie, “The Parent Trap”. Casting for the rest of the roles is currently underway and the movie is scheduled to begin production this year.

Billy Dowd Casting is currently seeking SAG-AFTRA union members and Non-Union for the upcoming feature film. There are two open casting calls. The first open casting call scheduled for Friday, May 30th is for Union members only and another open casting call set for Saturday, May 31st, according to reports.

HBO Comedy Series, ‘Vice Principals’ From ‘Eastbound & Down’ Creators Coming Soon

HBO picks up new Danny McBride Comedy Series, ‘Vice Principals’

After a long deal making process, HBO has closed the deal for a 18-episode straight to series order for ‘Vice Principals‘ a new comedy series from the creators of Eastbound & Down, Danny McBride and Jody HIll.

The new series will most likely be split into multiple seasons similar to Eastbound & Down, according to Deadline. 

Danny McBride will star in the upcoming new series, ‘Vice Principals‘. “Danny McBride and Jody Hill have created a smart, rowdy and unpredictable style of comedy that we can’t get enough of,” said HBO’s Michael Lombardo. “The idea of them setting their minds on high school was irresistible.

The television series, Vice Principals, centers on the people that run a high school including the vice principals, one of them played by McBride. The television series has been in development for about a year.

Vice Principals is executive produced by McBride, Hill, David Gordon Green and Stephanie Laing. These four were also executive producers of Eastbound & Down. 

Eastbound & Down wrapped its four-season run on HBO in November.

Chantelle Young, is a contestant in the 21st Cycle of ‘America’s Next Top Model’ who has the skin condition vitiligo.

Chantelle is a 19-year-old from Toronto who describes herself as a “vitiligo spokesmodel.”

In a new video addressing the viewers–The new “social media part to ANTM that allows for the audience to be the fourth judge in the panel, Chantelle says that being a contestant on the show is a “lifetime dream.”

Chantelle embraces her condition and says “a lot of people have a story or a background, but mine is painted on my body.”
