Last week, Tona B. Dahlquist casting announced 3 background actors were upgraded to speaking roles. In the social media post, she said, “MOB RULES -Very happy to announce 3 EXTRAS WERE UPGRADED TO SPEAKING ROLES on Friday! Congrats to Angie, Drew and Niamoni!”

According to reports, the sequel to “Halloween”, “Halloween Kills”, is now filming under the production title “Mob Rules”. “Halloween Kills” is set to be the sequel to the 2018 movie which saw the return of Jamie Lee Curtis. David Gordon Green is returning to helm Halloween Kills as well as the third installment, Halloween Ends.
Universal and Blumhouse’s Halloween reboot movie opened to $76.2 million. It is the highest opening in the franchise’s history. The film ended up earning over $255 million globally and $159 million in the U.S. on a budget in the $10 million range.

Details for the project have not been released. However, according to reports, the upcoming “Suicide Squad” feature film is filming under the code name “El Dorado”. It’s currently unknown what the story will revolve around, but this title could give us a little clue.

James Gunn will work as the writer and director for “The Suicide Squad” and will follow David Ayer’s 2016 film “Suicide Squad”. However, instead of being a sequel to the Ayer production, this is described as a new perspective to the franchise from the mind of Gunn that will feature a mix of new and old characters.
Viola Davis is coming back to play Amanda Waller, while Margot Robbie is set to reprise her role of Harley Quinn. Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman will be returning to play Captain Boomerang and Rick Flagg, respectively.
That said, Idris Elba will be replacing Will Smith but will play a new character and not Deadshot. Deadshot has been written out of the movie but may return in the future with Will Smith returning.

Netflix loses $1.62 billion annually due to password sharing, a new study finds.
In October, Netflix revealed its plans to shut down password sharing during its third-quarter earnings interview. One of the executives of the streaming company, Greg Peters, confirmed Netflix will soon change their terms of use and was “continuing to monitor” the situation.
A study by analytics firm Magid states that Netflix loses close to $135 million per month or a total of $1.62 billion annually to those who share their passwords with friends and family. The Magid analytics reports say around 10% of Netflix’s 13.7 million subscribers share their password with at least one other person.
The Hollywood Reporters reports the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, an anti-piracy group with members including Warner Bros., Disney, Netflix, Sony, and Paramount, are gearing ups o launch a crackdown on the password sharing in an attempt to better serve their subscribers.

The streaming platform discussed becoming stricter with the number of users using one account.
While Netflix did not say exactly how it would cut down on password sharing, the media believes they will limit devices signed to one account and/or monitor IP addresses. At this time, depending on your subscription package, Netflix puts a limit on the number of devices streaming at one time. The plan is to restrict the sharing of the same account to people of the same household. An even stricter policy Ould be implemented, where accounts shared with friends will come to an end. Greg Peters, one of the Netflix executives, confirmed Netflix will soon change their terms of use and was “continuing to monitor” the situation.

The majority of the views came immediately after the show premiered. Earlier this year, Netflix reported more than 40 million households watched the play within the first four days.

Details for the production have not been released. However, it is reported Bad Boys 3 will begin filming in Atlanta, Georgia starting this January. The sequel has been in development for a long time. Sony announced two Bad Boys moves in 2015, but there were several delays. Michael Bay directed the first two movies. Director Bay did not like the script and often told Smith and Lawrence in discussions about how the dialogue and scenes could improve. He often allowed them to improvise while the cameras were rolling. Moving forward, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will be directing the sequel, which is set to hit theaters in early 2020.

As you might expect, HBO Max is expanding its lineup of TV shows and movies. Now, a spin-off series of the 1978 John Travolta classic Grease is coming soon.
Grease: Rydell High will be an upcoming series set in the 1950s at Rydell High, the same school that was in the original movie. Besides the famous characters of Danny and Sandy, new characters will be introduced. “We’re going to build out the world of this show which everybody loves, in that musical style, and build basically a ‘High Shcool Musical’ kind of experience that will be a big fun rock and roll musical,” says Bob Greenblatt, a chairman for WarnerMedia Entertainment, in a recent press conference.
There will be huge musical numbers, mixing new songs with old ones. But it appears the licenses to iconic songs like “Grease Lightning” and “Summer Nights” are being held by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey estate; they are the original composers of the songs. SO the show may go on without the classic songs.

Jennifer Lopez stars in “Marry Me”, a new romantic comedy about a pop star who finds her boyfriend cheating on her right before they are set to get married and walk down the aisle at Madison Square Garden. Lopez’s character proceeds to have a meltdown on stage and then picks a random guy from the audience to say “I do” instead. The movie’s cast includes Owen Wilson and Colombian hit singer Maluma. A release date has not been announced yet. The new movie is based on a graphic novel by Bobby Crosby. The film is getting produced by Universal Pictures, though STX .
“We continue to have amazing experiences with Jennifer, Elaine [Goldsmith-Thomas] and Benny [Medina] with each film we collaborate on, and we’re thrilled that they wanted to work with STX again on this funny and endearing project,” STX films chairman Adam Fogelson said in April, according to Variety. “Owen Wilson is a hilarious and charismatic addition to the film, and the perfect person to play opposite Jen in a role that was quite literally made for her.”

About Suicide Squad 2:
Details for the project have not been released. However, according to reports, the upcoming “Suicide Squad” feature film is filming under the code name “El Dorado”. It’s currently unknown what the story will revolve around, but this title could give us a little clue.

James Gunn will work as the writer and director for “The Suicide Squad” and will follow David Ayer’s 2016 film “Suicide Squad”. However, instead of being a sequel to the Ayer production, this is described as a new perspective to the franchise from the mind of Gunn that will feature a mix of new and old characters.
Viola Davis is coming back to play Amanda Waller, while Margot Robbie is set to reprise her role of Harley Quinn. Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman will be returning to play Captain Boomerang and Rick Flagg, respectively. That said, Idris Elba will be replacing Will Smith but will play a new character and not Deadshot. Deadshot has been written out of the movie but may return in the future with Will Smith returning.
