Showtime’s BILLIONS season 5 is now casting upscale types in New York.

About Billions:

 Wealth, influence, and corruption collide in this drama set in New York. Shrewd U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a high-stakes game of predator vs. prey with Bobby Axelrod, an ambitious hedge-fund king. To date, Rhoades has never lost an insider trading case — he’s 81-0 — but when criminal evidence turns up against Axelrod, he proceeds cautiously in building the case against Axelrod, who employs Rhoades’ wife, psychiatrist Wendy, as a performance coach for his company. Wendy, who has been in her position longer than Chuck has been in his, refuses to give up her career for her husband’s legal crusade against Axelrod. Both men use their intelligence, power, and influence to outmaneuver the other in this battle over billions. Disney Channel Nationwide Open Casting Call for Aspiring Actors

Disney Channel digital open casting call for the aspiring kid and teen actors.

Disney Channel launches a digital open casting call for kids and teens as part of the company’s initiative to discover and develop aspiring actors.

The digital casting call will accept video auditions through Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

“In our ongoing efforts to reach a broader pool of talent across the U.S., our digital open casting call allows parents whose kids aspire to be actors the opportunity to submit their child’s audition right from where they live,” said Judy Taylor, SVP Casting and Talent Relations, Disney Channel. “This also gives Disney Channel a chance to potentially discover fresh, young and diverse talent who may not yet have agency representation.”

‘SpongeBob’ Spinoff About Squidward is Coming Soon to Netflix

Netflix and Nickelodeon confirmed a multi-year-deal worth $200 million for a ton of original animations.

According to reports, a new spin-off centered around Squidward, SpongeBob’s neighbor, and will be one of the projects as part of the $200 million deal.

Squidward, voiced by Rodger Bumpass, is an accomplished musician. In the show, he’s most often seen by SpongeBob getting frustrated with his co-worker and neighbor. The spin-off has been called a “music-based project,” but no further details have been released. It is still unclear whether or not the animation will be in a series or if it will be a movie. Netflix’s deal with Nickelodeon was likely motivated by heightened competition with Disney+, the streaming platform has not reached over 10 million subscribers.
