FXX Picks Up Tracy Morgan Series, Renews ‘Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ for Two More Seasons

Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been picked up for two seasons and creators will produce a new TV series featuring Tracy Morgan.

According to Variety, RCG Productions have landed a huge deal that will allow them 20 additional episodes and a new television series.

Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton and their RCG Productions have closed an expansive three-year overall production deal with FX Productions that not only guarantees them two more 10-episode seasons of their cult comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” but also a series order for a half-hour comedy starring Tracy Morgan (which they are developing with “New Girl’s” Luvh Rakhe), several script deals, and a comedy pilot order.

RCG Productions and Rakhe will work as executive producers and showrunners on the Tracy Morgan series which has a 10 episode order and is scheduled to premiere early next year.

Casting directors are now seeking new born babies or new born twins for CBS Under the Dome filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.

CBS Under the Dome is based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel about a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a massive transparent dome.

Jersey Shore Producer Facing a Class Action Lawsuit Over an Alleged “Pay Scheme”

Jersey Shore’s production company 495 productions is in some hot water and we are not talking about a Jacuzzi.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a former video editor is saying that 495 Productions developed a pay scheme that made sure he was not paid fairly.

 

A former video editor has filed a class action lawsuit against 495 Productions, the company behind Jersey Shore and other reality programs, charging them with unfair business practices and saying they failed to pay for overtime work, violated minimum wage laws and acted improperly in other ways.

He says he was paid $1,250 per week and was only paid overtime if he worked more than 60 hours in a single week.

Other charges in the lawsuit include failure to pay the minimum wage for hours worked; failure to pay all wages in a timely manner; and failure to provide accurate itemized statements to the employees.

So essentially, the law suit points out that 495 productions created  a “pay scheme” that forces hourly employees to accept a flat salary for 60 hours of work a week. “This is done in order to make it falsely appear the defendants pay scheme complies with California overtime laws,” says the suit.

Stephen Colbert is the Most Likely Potential Replacement for David Letterman

Earlier this week it was reported that the former Daily Show correspondent, John Oliver would not be replacing the retiring David Letterman.

But, according to Mashable, Stephen Colbert is CBS’ top choice to replace Letterman in popular late night series. On top of that, Stephen Colbert is interested in the opportunity.

According to Mashable:

Stephen Colbert is CBS’ top choice to replace the retiring David Letterman, and has indicated that he’s willing to take over the Late Show when the time comes, people familiar with both sides of the discussions tell Mashable.

Colbert has not had any formal contract discussions with CBS, and no agreement is in place, but sources tell Mashable that he first engaged with network executives while Letterman was still mulling the timing of his retirement. Though CBS has had conversations with other candidates, including Colbert’s Comedy Central counterpart Jon Stewart, individuals with knowledge of the situation say Colbert is currently the front-and-center candidate.

A CBS spokesman told Mashable: “We’re not commenting on any rumors or speculation about succession.” Comedy Central had no comment.

The David Letterman’s job position is becoming more and more like the Hunger Games with each channel fighting over the late night position.

Casting directors are looking for Eastern Europeans to work on a scene on the hit television series “Chicago Fire” filming in Chicago.

Chicago Fire is created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas and produced by Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, the show follows the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department at the firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and Battalion 25.

“The Originals” Season Finale Casting Call for Babies in Atlanta

Casting directors are now casting babies for a featured role on “The Originals” filming in Atlanta.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.
Casting directors are looking for caucasian babies to play the lead character’s baby for the final season episode.

Casting for CAUCASIAN BABIES to play our lead character’s baby for our final season episode!!!

*** NEWBORNS or older that are the SIZE OF NEWBORNS !! Babies that were premature are ideal!
FEMALES, but if your boy(s) can pass as a girl, feel free to submit.
***SINGLE BABIES, TWINS, TRIPLETS, or MORE!!!

NOTE 1: MULTIPLE WORK DATES
starting April 10th thru April 25th (week days only)
– please have a fairly open schedule for those dates and once booked, we will have the schedule more solidified.
Babies will work work for restricted amounts of hours (approx 4- 6hrs at a time, but not on camera that entire time
** We hope to use the same baby or babies for multiple days but please submit regardless

NOTE 2: Please be aware that this show is a fantasy show about supernatural beings (witches, warlocks, vampires, werewolves, etc… all that live among us as attractive citizens that live in New Orleans (it’s for the CW channel!).

NOTE 3: the pay rate for each baby is $250 per work day!!
If chosen for the birthing scene, the rate is $300 per baby for that scene!
