The drama ‘Constantine’ is based on the Hellblazer graphic novels. The series centers on master of the occult John Constantine, who is struggling with his faith and is haunted by the sins he committed in the past. But, he put into the role of defending humanity from the forces of darkness.

‘Bolden’ Movie Casting Call for African American Teens and Extras in Atlanta.

Marinella Hume Casting is looking for African American men and women ages 12 to 40 to work on the upcoming feature film ‘Bolden’ filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

It is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker”) originally was featured in the title role but will be recast before filming restarts, according to Star News Online.

According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle Haley, Omari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.

Fittings are scheduled for Friday, August 22nd and casting directors are seeking African American. Producers are looking for men who are of Creole descent. In addition casting directors are looking for teenagers to work on a scene filming film in Atlanta. Produers are looking for teens ages 12 to 15.

New VH1 Series, ‘Hindsight’ to Start Filming in Atlanta this September

New TV production may just be headed to film in Atlanta, Georgia.

A few months ago VH1’s filmed a TV pilot in the Atlanta area and network executives have given the greenlight to film the series. According to Deadline, VH1 has given a pilot order to HIndsight, a scripted Drama from Emily Fox the writer behind (Jane By Design). The show stars Laura Ramsey, Craig Horner, and Sarah Goldberg.

‘Hindsight’ centers around Becca (Laura Ramsey) on the eve of her second wedding — in hindsight, she thinks about her life’s decisions and winds up going back to the morning of her first wedding in 1995.

“‘Hindsight‘ is a great mix of sweetness, drama, 90?s nostalgia and humor,” said Susan Levison, EVP of Original Programming and Production, VH1. “This series will resonate with our viewers because it offerstheultimatewish fulfillment– the chance todo things differently the second time around. We’re thrilled to continue our big push into scripted series development and are proud to partner with such talented auspices.”

Filming for this production should start production this September in Atlanta, Georgia.

American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics. The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.

The Messengers centers on a mysterious object crashes on earth and a group of unconnected strangers die from an energy pulse it emits, but then re-awaken to find out that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse.
