Discovery Channel cancels ‘Sons of Guns‘ after new charges emerge against the leading reality star.

“Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against William Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of Sons Of Guns and cancel the series,”Discovery Channel said in a statement about the star of its reality show.

The Discovery Channnel’s “Sons of Guns” centered on William Hayden and his company Red Jacket Firearms, as they toured the country buying, selling and trading firearms.

East Baton Rouge Parish authorities arrested Hayden 3 PM last tuesday after allegedly raping and victimizing his daughter since March of 2013, when she was 11.

Earlier this year Hayden was arrested for molestation of a juvenile and aggravated crimes against nature. He argued that the charges were false and came from a conflict with his former girlfriend.

According to reports, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said that during its investigation around the first arrest, “we received more information that these rapes allegedly occurred from March 2013 to July 2014 of our victim, who was 11 and then later 12 years old at the time,” and the victim told police that the acts occurred almost daily, but she didn’t report them because she was afraid for her life due to the threats Hayden made.

‘Sopranos’ Creator, David Chase Reveals if Tony Soprano Died in the Finale

Earlier today, writers at Vox published a piece entitled, “Did Tony die at the end of The Sopranos?”. In a matter of a few hours, the article went viral and fans went crazy.

According to the article, the showrunner behind ‘The Sopranos’, David Chase, answered the question quite bluntly by saying “No he isn’t.”

Several hours later, it seems it wasn’t necessarily accurate, because David Chase’s publicist later issued a statement saying his comments were “misconstrued” and Tony didn’t live at the end of the series. However, Tony also did not die. Get ready to get confused:

“A journalist for Vox misconstrued what David Chase said in their interview. To simply quote David as saying,” Tony Soprano is not dead,” is inaccurate. There is a much larger context for that statement and as such, it is not true. As David Chase has said numerous times on the record, “Whether Tony Soprano is alive or dead is not the point.” To continue to search for this answer is fruitless. The final scene of The Sopranos raises a spiritual question that has no right or wrong answer.” (Vulture)

Despite millions of people finally being able to go to bed at night knowing there was an ending to The Sopranos, Chase’s publicist ruined it like a crying baby in the movie theater.

At the end of the day the ending to ‘The Sopranos’ is demonstrate that you should believe whatever you want to believe in. If you think Tony Soprano died, then he’s dead and vice versa.

In David Chase’s interview with Vox he explained the ending behind ‘The Sopranos’ was based on the poem “Dream Within a Dream” by Edgar Allan Poe, which centers on what is reality and what is fantasy. “Is all that we see or seem / But a dream within a dream?”. So there’s a possibility that ‘The Sopranos’ never even happened and it was all a dream.

The Originals Season Two finds our heroes adjusting to a new status quo, with the very newly empowered werewolves controlling the city, Klaus struggling to adjust to new weaknesses, and Elijah is desperate to save Hayley, now a hybrid, from a vicious spiral of self-destruction.

ABC’s ‘Full House’ is Returning to Television

Full House is returning to a TV screen near you.

Despite the ABC sitcom was canceled nearly twenty years ago, The Hollywood Reporter announced that they will make another “Full House” series and a majority of the original cast could return to TV.

“Full House” ran for nearly 200 episodes over eight seasons. The series centered on Bob Saget who played Danny Tanner, a single father of three who ends up moving in with his brother-in-law, John Stamos‘ Jesse Katsopolis and his best friend, Dave Coulier‘s Joey Gladstone.

The news comes as repeats of the series, which ran on ABC from 1987 to 1995, remain a ratings standout on Nick at Nite and as fellow TGIF comedy Boy Meets World was relaunched this year with a follow-up, Girl Meets World, with much of the original cast returning in some capacity. [THR]

According to reports, Cameron and Sweetin are expected to return to the series. Saget and Coulier are also connected to the new project, although not necessarily as regulars

As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal 5th wave, Cassie meets a young man who may become her final hope.

5th Wave Movie Casting Call

The series is about 3 gay friends living in San Francisco and features Jonathan Groff (SMASH). Jonathan Groff play’s a video game designer named Patrick, who’s looking for love on OKCupid. “The show hopefully will express all facets of gay life,” he said. “We’re all different types of people. There’s lots of people who have anonymous sex. There’s also people looking for love. There’s people looking for an open relationship. There are also the queens. There are those you wouldn’t know were gay. It’s the gay experience.”

Beau Bonneau Casting is casting SF Bay Area locals for Paid Extra Work on Season 2 of “Looking”, an HBO dramedy revolving around the lives of 3 gay friends living in SF. They’ll shoot 9/3-11/20 on a Tues–Sat schedule to start. MTV ‘Faking It’ Season 2 Casting Call for Extras in Los Angeles, California.

Sande Alessi Casting is looking for extras to work on MTV’s hit TV series ‘Faking It‘ filming in Los Angeles.

Faking It is comedy about two best friends, Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk), who love each other in different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which make them instantly popular. After becoming popular they decide to keep up their romantic ruse. Gregg Sulkin, Michael Willett and Bailey Buntain also star on MTV’s ‘Faking It‘.

Casting directors are looking for extras to work on Thursday, August 28th and Friday, August 29th in Los Angeles. Producers are looking for make-out couples that are 18 years old but, look younger. In addition, MTV is looking for extras that own and wear country western clothing (cowboy hat, western shirts, boots, belt and buckle).

Disney is holding an open casting call for singers, dancers, and character look-a-likes in Los Angeles, California.

Disney Creative Entertainment, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Principal Vocalists, Dancers and Disney Character Look-alikes for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.

Performers bring entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a rousing, fun-filled musical featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming and many others.

7 – 12 month contracts (depending on role) begin January/February/March 2015. Performers receive competitive salary ($600 – $930 USD per week), per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.

VOCALISTS – 7 month contracts, $930 USD per week
Diamond Jim: Male, 20s-30s, Caucasian, 5’10”-6’2″, slender to normal build, strong and handsome leading man for the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, moves well, engaging with great ability to interact with an audience. Baritone/Tenor with a beautiful, rich sound.

Slue Foot Sue: Female, late 20s, Caucasian, 5’4″-5’7, slender build, charismatic and playful owner of the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, lights up the stage with her engaging personality, great with audience interaction, Soprano/Belt.

Latin-style Pop Tenor: Male, 20s-30s, Latino, 5’9″+, slender to normal build, good physique, pop idol looks and great charisma for “Minnie, Oh Minnie!”, a Latin-flavored revue, moves well, ability to sing in Spanish a plus, Pop Tenor to A flat.

Blues Singer: Female, 20s-40s, African-heritage, 5’3″-5’8″, slender to curvy build, glamorous and beautiful, charismatic with strong stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Big Band Swing, performed with a live orchestra, moves well, Belt.

DANCERS – 12 Month contracts, $800 USD per week
Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 5’9″+, Females 5’3”-5’5”, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability

Male Ballet Dancers: 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights.

Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 5’8”+, strong solo tappers trained in jazz and tap with exceptional charisma and commanding stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African-heritage dancers.

FEMALE DANCERS WHO RESEMBLE ARIEL – 12 Month contracts, $800 USD per week
Ariel: Ariel’s wide eyed charm and adventurous spirit are infectious but she can be just as head strong when dealing with matters that are important to her. As the entire production occurs suspended in the air, dancers must have strong abdominal/back muscles with beautiful port de bras and no fear of heights. Experience with 2 point harness a plus, but not required. Performer must be able to lip sync to Japanese track. (Japanese language not required).

DISNEY CHARACTER LOOK-ALIKES – 12 month contracts, $600 USD per week
Character look-alike performers develop improvisational skills while appearing before thousands of guests each day in “meet and greets”, parades, spectaculars and special events across the Tokyo Disney Resort. Candidates should resemble the Characters in look, height and personality; strong movement ability is required. Some roles also require strong acting abilities.

Male Disney Character Look-alikes: 5’0”-5’7” and 5’9”-6’0”. Roles include iconic Disney Princes and Heroes: Captain Jack Sparrow, Indiana Jones, Aladdin, Prince Charming, Prince Phillip, Mad Hatter, and Peter Pan.

Female Disney Character Look-alikes: 4’11”-5’7”. Roles include iconic Princesses, Heroines and notorious villains including: Jasmine, Pocahontas, Alice, Wendy, Tinker Bell, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Cruella DeVil.

Martin Scorsese Planning on Directing HBO’s ‘Shutter Island’ TV Series, ‘Ashecliffe’

Martin Scorsese is thinking about directing HBO’s ‘Shutter Island‘ TV series, ‘Ashecliffe‘.

True Blood has finally ended and Boardwalk Empire and The Newsroom will air their series finale later on this year. So, HBO will soon have to create new programs to fill their newly opened schedule.

HBO is considering making a TV version of the hit feature film, Shutter Island, based on the Dennis Lehane’s novel. ‘Shutter Island‘ centered around  U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding near-by.

Tentatively titled Ashecliffe, the plan is for the pilot to be directed by Martin Scorsese from a script by Dennis Lehane…Ashecliffe is the name of the isolated mental hospital where the movie took place, and the series begins before the events of the film. The focus is the past of hospital, and the secrets and misdeeds perpetrated by its founders who erected the hospital in the early 20th Century and developed the methods of treatment use for the mentally ill.

The chances that Leonardo DiCaprio will join the cast of ‘Ashecliffe‘ are slim to none. This is probably because his plans for winning an Academy Award are not just done yet.
