Casting Call: Singer for Broadway and National Touring Companies of “Wicked”
Job Details: We are looking for talented and dynamic singers to join the Broadway and National Touring Companies of the blockbuster musical “Wicked.” This is an open call for individuals who are passionate about performance and are ready to take on the challenging and rewarding roles in one of the most renowned musical productions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform in principal and ensemble roles in the North American productions of “Wicked.”
- Participate in all scheduled rehearsals and performances.
- Maintain the integrity of the musical performance by consistently delivering high-quality singing and acting.
- Work collaboratively with the cast, directors, and crew to ensure a cohesive and professional production.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Open to any ethnicity and gender.
- Must possess a fantastic singing voice with a wide vocal range suitable for the musical’s requirements.
- Ability to move well and take on choreography as part of performance duties.
- Must be authorized to work legally in the United States.
- Both Equity and Non-Equity singers are welcome to audition.
- Prepared to sing 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song showing range, and 16 bars of a traditional legit musical theatre song showing range.
- Must bring sheet music in case you are asked to sing with piano accompaniment.
Compensation Details:
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and role.
- Equity roles will be compensated according to Equity agreements.
- Non-Equity compensation details will be provided upon casting.
- Additional benefits may include travel allowances, per diems, and accommodations for touring company members.
