PSL casts six recurring on-camera players for a remotely recorded 12-episode beta season.
This is a live, unscripted political role. We want people who listen, answer the argument they actually heard, and make real disagreement fun to watch. Formal debate experience helps but isn't required. Strong candidates come from comedy, improv, podcasting, hosting, journalism, trial work, advocacy, teaching, student debate, public speaking, or a job that handed them a sharp point of view.
We send a short research brief before each debate. Players should already broadly share the politics of their team; nobody is asked to defend beliefs they don't hold.
Job Description
A high-profile televised singing competition is casting an enthusiastic, camera-ready studio audience for tapings in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Audience members may be positioned near the judges’ area.
Job Responsibilities
- Appear on camera as a standing audience member
- Bring great energy and expressive reactions
- Follow direction from the production team during tapings
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, camera-ready presence
- Available for one or more taping dates
- Able to stand for extended periods; breaks provided between segments
Compensation
- $17.50 per hour with a 4-hour minimum guarantee
