A new feature film set in the 1980s is casting background extras for an upcoming production filming in St. Petersburg, Florida. This period piece will bring a powerful story to life, and casting is seeking individuals who can authentically fit the era. Talent may also have the opportunity to feature their period-appropriate vehicles on screen.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear as a background extra in a period film
• Follow direction to help create realistic 1980s scenes
• Maintain a natural and era-appropriate on-camera presence
• Participate in wardrobe fittings if selected
• Collaborate with the production team during filming

Requirements

• Open to all genders and ethnicities
• Must be able to portray a 1980s look and style
• Comfortable wearing period wardrobe, including swimwear if required
• Available for filming dates in St. Petersburg, Florida
• Period-appropriate vehicles (1965–1979) are a plus

Compensation

• $200 for 12-hour filming day
• $50 for fitting
• $150 additional pay for approved period vehicles
• Opportunity to work on a feature film production
