Job Description
A production is seeking an athletic female model or actress to appear in an educational documentary-style video project focused on accessibility and mobility challenges experienced during temporary lower-limb injuries. The project will be shown to junior and community college students in Southern California and aims to foster awareness, empathy, and understanding of accessibility issues.
The selected talent will portray an individual recovering from a temporary leg injury while navigating everyday environments using crutches and a medical-grade cast or splint provided by the production.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray an individual recovering from a temporary lower-limb injury.
- Participate in documentary-style scenes involving everyday activities and public navigation.
- Use provided crutches and a medical-grade cast or splint during filming.
- Follow creative direction while delivering natural, authentic on-camera performances.
- Collaborate with the production team to capture realistic and educational content.
- Bring multiple wardrobe options and personal accessories as requested.
Requirements
- Female, ages 18–30.
- Athletic, active, or fitness-oriented appearance.
- Based in or able to work in the Greater Los Angeles area.
- Comfortable performing physical activities while using crutches.
- Strong on-camera presence and ability to convey genuine emotion.
- Able to provide a headshot and full-body photo.
- Prior acting or modeling experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience using crutches, casts, or recovering from an injury is beneficial but not required.
- Must be willing to participate in a documentary-style production environment.
Compensation Details
- $100 flat rate.
- Approximately 3–4 hours of work.
- Meals and snacks provided.
- Compensation is non-negotiable.
