Job Description

A live sports broadcast production team is seeking an experienced Runner II to support remote broadcast operations for a collegiate baseball event. This production assistant role involves assisting operations staff, coordinating logistics, supporting talent and crew needs, and helping ensure seamless event execution. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced live production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist operations and production teams during remote sports broadcasts
• Support event logistics, including arrivals, departures, and crew coordination
• Distribute information and materials to production staff and talent
• Help coordinate announcer and on-site production activities
• Complete assigned production and operations tasks throughout the event
• Maintain effective communication with crew members and leadership
• Contribute to the successful execution of live broadcast operations

Requirements

• Must live within 100 miles of the event location
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license required
• Previous experience working on live remote productions as a runner
• Strong communication skills via phone, text, and email
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to communicate regularly with the operations team
• Basic knowledge of broadcast production operations preferred
• Leadership experience overseeing or assisting other runners is a plus
• Familiarity with the local area and venue is beneficial
