Bus Stop Films is casting paid speaking roles for Agora, a mythological political thriller filming in Brisbane, Australia. The film follows the ancient Greek goddesses Athena and Nike as they return to Earth to confront Poseidon’s fury and prevent his plan to reclaim the oceans.

Production is seeking talented performers who can bring emotional depth, physical presence, and compelling performances to these pivotal roles. Actors of all abilities are encouraged to apply, with previous acting experience preferred.

Roles Available

Poseidon – The God of the Seas

• Male / male-identifying
• Ages 35–50
• Powerful, charismatic, and deeply wounded
• Believes destruction is the only path to restoring balance

Nike – The Goddess of Victory

• Female / female-identifying
• Ages 25–45
• Passionate, fearless, and driven by justice
• Challenges Poseidon with strength and strategy

Requirements

• Strong emotional performance and screen presence.
• Acting experience preferred but not required.
• Open to performers of all abilities.
• Headshot required.
