Job Description
A paid student film production titled “Melt” is seeking Venezuelan actors for a powerful graduate thesis project under the SAG-AFTRA Student Film Agreement. The film explores complex themes surrounding immigration, identity, and moral conflict. Filming will take place in Bethesda, Maryland, with travel and accommodations provided for selected talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a lead character in a dramatic narrative film
• Deliver an emotionally grounded and nuanced performance
• Collaborate closely with the director and production team
• Participate in scheduled rehearsals and filming days

Requirements

• Male actor, ages 30–40
• Must be Venezuelan
• Strong acting ability with a reserved and stoic presence
• Ability to portray internal conflict and emotional depth
• Spanish is not required, but familiarity with Spanglish is a plus
• Must be available for the full filming schedule

Compensation

• $300 per day for 3 days
• Travel and accommodations provided
