The Senior Vice President, Social Media will be a key leader in developing and driving Highwire’s social media programs. This role will focus on creating and executing innovative social media experiences, expanding our social media offerings, and integrating social strategies into broader digital marketing and strategic communications plans. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure measurable outcomes, driving both client success and agency growth. As a senior leader, you will partner with our other VPs and SVPs of social media, as well as our EVP of Digital, to mentor a growing team of social media professionals and play a significant role in both new business development and organic growth within existing accounts.

We are seeking a talented and creative **Social Media Editor** to join the Influencer Marketing & Franchise Growth team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a passion for keeping up to date with social media trends, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create engaging content that resonates with a reality TV-obsessed audience.

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Package social media content for the Virtual Reali-Tea and Page Six accounts spanning Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and more.

+ Create short-form vertical videos, memes and engagement posts.

+ Film, edit and post raw video footage from podcast episodes, live events and TV into polished, engaging content suitable for social media platforms. Ensure videos adhere to platform-specific requirements and best practices.

+ Engage with fans on Virtual Reali-Tea social accounts by replying to comments across social platforms, sending Whatsapp channel messages and more.

+ Work closely with stakeholders across departments that are involved in the Virtual Reali-Tea brand.

**The ideal candidate will have/be:**

+ Experience in content creation.

+ Proficient in video and photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and Canva.

+ Strong news judgment and excellent writing and copy-editing skills.

+ Knowledge of social media trends and emerging platforms.

+ Experience handling social media accounts with a large audience.

+ Ability to multitask, balance priorities and thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Misery Loves Co., a production company, is currently seeking to increase its output by offering full or partial funding for original, short-form, stand-alone content suitable for YouTube, IG, TickTock, etc. as well as festival recognition.
As a published writer and actor with well-over 100 IMDB credits, I am also seeking to collaborate on such content where possible.
All accepted projects will be promoted by a social media manager.
Ideally, content should be provocative/timely/humorous.
However, open to work of any tone that has the potential to go viral or be festival-worthy.
