Job Description:

Miami Talent Casting is seeking a commanding and mesmerizing female actor to play the role of The Witch in the immersive haunted house experience, NIGHTMARE. Loosely based on the demon Lilith, the Witch is an enchanting yet terrifying presence, preying on and tormenting John, the lead character, throughout the experience. The Witch’s role evolves as the haunt progresses, with each appearance growing in intensity as she haunts and terrifies the audience and John alike.

This is a physical, movement-based role that demands an actor who can convey both elegance and menace. The Witch will play a central role in creating a chilling, immersive atmosphere for guests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the Witch, a powerful and eerie figure who torments John throughout the haunted house experience.
• Use body language and movement to create an eerie, commanding presence.
• Interact with the audience and John, creating a sense of fear and suspense.
• Perform in various staged sequences as the Witch’s influence over John intensifies.
• Comfortably wear makeup and special effects (FX) to enhance the terrifying appearance of the Witch.
• Attend rehearsals and be prepared to work in a dynamic, immersive environment.

Requirements:

• Female actor aged 21-35.
• Prior experience with dancing or movement-based performance is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working with special effects makeup and prosthetics.
• Ability to maintain energy and character in a physically demanding, immersive setting.
• Strong stage presence with the ability to create an aura of fear and enchantment.
• Must be available for rehearsals and performance dates.
• Prior experience in immersive theater, horror, or haunt performances is a bonus but not required.

Compensation:

• $300 per 8-hour shift + 20% Agency Fee (AF), depending on the role.
