Job Description:
Tess Joseph Casting is seeking talented actors for smaller secondary roles and day player positions in an independent international feature film. This production prefers actors from or near Wai, Satara, Mahabaleshwar, and surrounding areas. Roles involve minimal dialogue and strong reaction-based acting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned roles authentically to reflect the characters’ backgrounds and dynamics.
• Deliver performances in Marathi and Hindi for all roles, with some requiring English.
• Collaborate with the director to achieve the desired tone and vision of the scenes.
• Submit a professional introduction video and photos as part of the audition process.

Available Roles:

1. Father: Male, late 30s to late 40s, daily wage laborer from a rural village. Marathi and Hindi required.
2. Mother: Female, late 30s to late 40s, homemaker from a rural village. Marathi and Hindi required.
3. Sonu: Female, 20s, house help. Marathi and Hindi required.
4. Golu: Girl, 3–4 years old, daughter to the house help. Marathi and Hindi required.
5. Bunsi: Male, 20s, construction worker and union leader. Must be a strong swimmer. Marathi and Hindi required.
6. Ahilya: Female, late 30s, posh guest at a party. English and Hindi required.

Requirements:

• All candidates must be fluent in Marathi and Hindi (English required for Ahilya).
• Actors must submit an introduction video (mentioning name, age, height, city of residence) and speak a few lines in Marathi and Hindi.
• Submit two photos: one close-up and one full-length.
• Preference for actors local to Wai or nearby areas or with accommodation access.
