Lookalike Background Performer (Mistaken Identity Scene)
Job Description
A production is casting a lookalike background performer for a mistaken identity moment. This is not a photo double role—talent should naturally resemble the reference actor but does not need to be an exact match. This is a great opportunity for performers who can bring believable presence to an interior studio scene and stay flexible with the day’s schedule.
Job Responsibilities

Appear as background talent in a mistaken identity scene

Match the general look and vibe of the reference actor

Follow direction from the on-set team and maintain continuity

Remain available with a flexible schedule as call times may shift
Requirements

New faces preferred, but all experience levels welcome

Must resemble the reference actor (not an exact match required)

Height should be within 5’2″–5’6″

Must be available any time during the day/afternoon/evening on the shoot day

Comfortable working on an interior studio set in Mississauga
Compensation
-
Union: Background rate per applicable agreement
-
Non-union: $17.60/hour with an 8-hour minimum
