Casting Call – Male Actor (Lead Role, Ages 18–28)

Job Description
Seeking a talented young male actor for the role of Jack, the emotionally layered lead in a grounded dramatic scene. The piece is designed to be professionally shot and edited for demo reel use, drawing inspiration from series like Ginny & Georgia and films like All the Bright Places. The scene is a two-person dialogue rooted in subtle, authentic emotion and vulnerability.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Jack, an intense and empathetic young man in a quiet, emotional scene

• Collaborate with the director to deliver a naturalistic and nuanced performance

• Participate in a one-day shoot with a 4–5 hour filming window

• Receive a polished, edited clip suitable for demo reel use

Requirements

• Male, age 18–28

• Comfortable with grounded, emotionally intimate performances

• Prior acting experience is preferred but not required

• Open to Union and Non-Union performers

Compensation

• $100 flat rate for approximately 4–5 hours on set
