Job Description
A gripping true-crime series is casting a dynamic male performer with locs to portray the lead victim in dramatic re-enactment scenes. Filming spans an intense single-day schedule, capturing pivotal moments that will anchor the episode’s narrative. Expect silent performance beats that rely on expressive physicality and nuanced emotion to drive suspense.

Job Responsibilities

  • Embody the victim through realistic, dialogue-free re-enactments

  • Follow director cues precisely for blocking, timing, and camera angles

  • Convey authentic fear, urgency, and vulnerability through facial and body language

  • Collaborate with stunt and effects teams to maintain on-set safety and continuity

Requirements

  • Male actor, appearing African American, ages 20–35

  • Must currently have locs (natural or faux) that match reference photos

  • Strong non-verbal acting skills and comfort with high-stakes scenarios

  • Able to self-report as a local hire; reliable transportation required

Compensation

  • $175 for a 12-hour day

  • Non-union, 1099 engagement

  • Meals and standard production amenities provided; no travel or housing
