Background Extras for Sci-Fi Film “Second Contact”

Job Description
A new sci-fi production is now casting background extras for several featured roles in the upcoming film Second Contact. This is an excellent opportunity to gain IMDb credit, reel footage, and work on a creative, imaginative set. Casting is open to all genders, ethnicities, and body types, with a variety of roles and locations throughout the Orlando area.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray featured background characters in different scenes such as:

  • Shoppers in a store

  • Secret Service agents

  • Crowd members greeting an alien

• Follow on-set direction and maintain energy throughout the filming duration

• Collaborate with the crew for smooth execution of scenes

Requirements

• Ages 18–75 depending on role

• All genders, ethnicities, and types welcome

• Athletic/fit for “shopper” roles

• Over 6 ft tall preferred for “agent” roles

• Comfortable on camera and able to take direction

• Available for the following dates:

  • Shoppers: July 13th, 12pm–6pm (Lake Mary area)

  • Secret Service: July 19th, 1pm–9pm (Downtown Orlando/Baldwin Park)

  • Alien Crowd: July 19th, 6:30pm–9pm (Baldwin Park)

Compensation

• $25 stipend for featured shoppers and agents

• IMDb credit and footage for reel

• Great exposure on an imaginative sci-fi project
