Job Description
A short film is casting for the role of Dave, a hardworking husband character who is exhausted but deeply caring. This is a non-union, passion project role and is open to Black or white actors. Talent should be comfortable performing in a character-driven, narrative short film environment and taking direction on set.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Dave with emotional honesty, warmth, and grounded realism.

• Perform scripted scenes as directed and collaborate professionally with cast and crew.

• Take adjustments/direction quickly to support story, pacing, and continuity.

• Arrive prepared and ready to work, including wardrobe/hair/makeup readiness as required by production.

Requirements

• Age Range: 20–28

• Ethnicity: Open to Black or white actor

• Must be able to convey an “exhausted but caring” presence believably on camera.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional on set.

• Must provide name and reel for consideration.
