Waldron Casting is seeking SAG-AFTRA African-American actors to portray choir members for an upcoming film titled “Denim and Diamonds.” Performers will mime singing to a pre-recorded track, bringing authenticity and energy to the scenes. Job Responsibilities:

• Portray a choir member in a church or choir setting, miming singing to a pre-recorded track.

• Participate in digital scanning for the creation of digital replicas, as per the SAG Basic Agreement.
• Collaborate with fellow cast members to create a lively and authentic choir performance.

Requirements:

• Willing to sign a consent form for digital scanning and replication as part of the production process.

Compensation:

• SAG Special Ability Rate: $216 for 8 hours (anything over 8 hours will be compensated as overtime).

The production involves multiple shoot days, with both single-day and multi-day options available. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an energetic film and create an exciting crowd dynamic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray concert goers in various scenes for the film, engaging with the energy and atmosphere of a live concert.
• Follow the direction of the production team to accurately depict a concert audience.
• Collaborate with other extras and the production crew to maintain the continuity and realism of the scenes.
• Be prepared for potential digital scanning, as digital replicas may be created for use in the motion picture.
• Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm throughout filming.

Requirements:

• Must be non-union.
• Comfortable with standing and moving for extended periods, simulating concert activities (cheering, dancing, etc.).

African-American Choir Group / Singers – Feature Film

Job Description:
We are casting African-American choir groups or singers for a feature film project. This role involves performers miming to a pre-recorded track in a professional setting. The production will also utilize scanning technology to create digital replicas of the performers for use in the film.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform as part of an African-American choir group or as an individual singer, miming singing to a pre-recorded track.
• Attend and participate in the filming process, following the direction of the production team.
• Be prepared to be scanned for digital replicas, with consent provided for use in connection with the motion picture.

Requirements:

• Must be part of an African-American choir group or be an individual singer.
• Comfortable miming to a pre-recorded track during the performance.
• Must be available for the entirety of the filming process.
• Must be willing to sign a consent form for the creation and use of digital replicas.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $715 for 8 hours of work (with overtime pay for anything over 8 hours).
• Meals will be provided on set.
