A new feature film celebrating the life and legacy of Houston icon Mattress Mack is now casting background extras. Filming will take place in Conroe, Houston, and surrounding areas, offering local talent the chance to be part of a project honoring one of the city’s most beloved figures. This is a great opportunity for those seeking on-set experience in a meaningful, community-centered production.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear in background scenes portraying real-life community environments

• Follow direction from the assistant director and on-set production team

• Arrive on time, camera-ready, and prepared for a full day of filming

• Maintain professionalism and continuity between takes

Requirements

• Adults 18+, all ethnicities

• Kids of all ages also needed for select scenes (shoot dates TBD)

• Must be local to Houston or surrounding areas

• Open availability preferred between scheduled filming days

• Non-union talent only

Compensation

• $125/day (standard 12-hour day)
