A feature film production is casting an Asian male actor with real sumo wrestling experience to portray a club doorman in a scripted scene. This is a major speaking role in an ACTRA feature with full buyout terms. The shoot involves an evening/night schedule, and applicants should be comfortable on set for extended hours. This is a great chance for unique talent to shine in a highly visible role.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a sumo wrestler playing a club doorman with strong on-screen presence

• Perform with confidence and physical authenticity

• Participate in a professional night shoot with a full film crew

• Take direction and deliver lines with clarity and precision

Requirements

• Asian male actor with real-life sumo wrestling experience (Japanese or Chinese descent preferred)

• Must be available for evening/night filming

• Comfortable performing in a physically demanding role

Compensation

• $631.25 for 8 hours

• Full buyout rate with OT and travel compensation

• ACTRA union production

• One-night shoot with crew call at 4PM EST
