Job Description
A paid opportunity is available for a Location Manager or property owner for an upcoming short film shooting in Toronto this May. We are seeking either a professional to scout and manage the perfect setting or direct leads for a unit that matches a specific cinematic brief for a story about a financially struggling family.
Job Responsibilities

Scout and secure a 2-bedroom unit in an older building that fits the “lived-in” aesthetic.

Manage all location logistics, permissions, and on-site coordination for the 2-3 day shoot.

Liaise between the production team and the property owner or residents.

Ensure access to the public hallway outside the unit for filming key scenes.
Requirements

Option 1: Experienced Location Manager available in May.

Option 2: Owner/resident of a suitable 2-bedroom unit in an older Toronto building.

The location must be dated, textured, and non-modern (no new condos or luxury finishes).

Must allow filming access to the interior unit and the shared public hallway.

Professionalism and clear communication for negotiation and coordination.
