A low-tier feature comedy film is now hiring experienced hair and makeup professionals for an upcoming production. This project is seeking a Lead Hair Artist, Hair Assistants, Makeup Assistants, and an SFX Artist for a multi-day shoot. Filming will take place on location, and the team is looking for skilled professionals with on-set experience who can contribute to a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair and/or makeup services for cast members on set
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve the desired look for characters
- Maintain continuity of hair and makeup throughout filming
- Assist with touch-ups and adjustments during shoot days
- SFX artist to handle special effects makeup as required
Requirements
- Prior on-set experience in hair, makeup, or SFX preferred
- Must be local to the Fort Lauderdale area
- Ability to work full or partial shoot schedules depending on role
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must have own kit (kit rental provided)
Compensation
- Lead Hair: $26.79/hour + $25/day kit rental (5 days)
- Assistants (Hair & Makeup): $23.21/hour + $25/day kit rental (3 days)
- Guaranteed 10-hour days
