Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Wardrobe Stylist for an upcoming project starting the week of June 24th, with opportunities for ongoing work. This role is crucial in ensuring that the visual elements of our productions are cohesive, appealing, and align with the creative vision of our projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other creative team members to develop a wardrobe plan that fits the character profiles and overall production aesthetic.
  • Source and procure clothing, accessories, and other wardrobe items.
  • Fit and alter costumes as necessary to ensure proper fit and visual appeal.
  • Maintain the organization and care of all wardrobe items, including cleaning and repairs.
  • Manage wardrobe budgets and keep detailed records of expenditures.
  • Ensure continuity by keeping detailed notes and photos of wardrobe setups.
  • Assist actors with wardrobe changes during production.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Wardrobe Stylist in film, television, theatre, or related fields.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of styling projects.
  • Excellent sense of style and color theory.
  • Knowledge of historical and contemporary fashion trends.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed.
