. Origin Films is producing a series of highly engaging videos which will be featured on a Facebook page that promotes viral content.
We are looking for actors/comedians/personalities to be featured in these videos. The videos will be approx. 3 mins each in length and will have a range of concepts. We are looking for African American actors (as requested by the client) who are charismatic, naturally engaging, highly personable, funny, outgoing, and creative. We aim to create videos that are organic and unscripted. The client has provided two references to Facebook pages that create similar content to what we aim to create with this project. They are; Trick Daddy (https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=581328009542599&extid=NS-UNK-UNK-UNK-IOS_GK0T-GK1C&ref=sharing) and The King Kountry Wayne (https://www.facebook.com/KingKountryWayne). THERE IS A HIGH LIKELIHOOD THAT THESE VIDEOS WILL GO VIRAL–The client manages several Facebook pages across a variety of categories with millions of followers and videos on these pages frequently go viral. Further, this is an ongoing project in which we are producing several videos on a weekly basis, so if you are a good fit there may be extensive opportunities for you in the future. This crime/thriller story follows Michael as he becomes desperate to belong in Montreal’s criminal underworld, with the narrative told through the voice of a respected Québécois gangster, Jacques Dubois. The project is seeking a grounded performer who can carry a dramatic lead role in a short-form crime narrative.
