VICE TV IS NOW CASTING WRESTLERS, FIGHTERS, BOXERS, & TALENT WITH STUNT OR MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING FOR A NEW DOCUMENTARY SERIES “TALES FROM THE TERRITORIES”
From Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the creators of the groundbreaking Dark Side of the Ring comes a new series that reunites real life legends from wrestling’s most famous promotions, to relive their most outrageous, jaw-dropping, unbelievable but 100% true stories from in and out of the squared circle.
We’re looking for non union wrestlers, fighters, boxers, and talent with stunt or martial arts training to play various wrestlers throughout the decades! From Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Antonio The Great, Andre The Giant, Princess Victoria, and more!
All roles are non speaking/recreations. Most roles will need to wear a wig. This is a non-union project. No acting experience is required.
The application will ask you to upload an optional video.
Dates: Filming will take place in Toronto and surrounding area between the end of August until October 2022.
Rates: Wrestlers/Special Skills/Leads – $300/day, Secondary Roles – $250/day, and PCR Testing – $25/day
Protocols: Double vaccination is preferred. Talent will also be rapid tested on set.

Job Description
A UBC film production is casting talent for an upcoming narrative project shooting on 16mm film. Production is seeking performers for three scripted roles in a surreal, character-driven story centered on a housewife’s transformation and the shifting dynamics within her home. Selected talent will be featured on camera.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform scripted scenes as directed, maintaining character consistency throughout the shoot.
- Take direction on set and collaborate professionally with cast and crew.
- Participate in wardrobe/hair/makeup as needed to support the role and story.
- Be prepared for multiple takes and continuity requirements typical of film production.
Requirements
- Joyce Green (Female, 30s–50s): Must be able to portray a suburban housewife experiencing personal transformation and an awakening that blurs the line between clarity and unraveling.
- Saul Green (Male, 40s–50s): Must be able to portray a working-class husband with grounded realism, quiet frustration, and emotional subtext beneath a stoic exterior.
- Hilda (Female, 50s–70s): Must be able to portray a faith-driven woman with warmth, sincerity, and calm authority.
- Comfortable working on camera in a film set environment.
- Professional, punctual, and able to follow on-set direction.
