An upcoming animated series, “The Children of Calamity,” is casting five English-language voice actors for its animated trailer and production. The fantasy story follows Aizick as he discovers a dark family secret and embarks on a journey involving ancient tomes capable of summoning dangerous monsters. Voice talent will record remotely and bring a diverse group of characters to life, including teenage and adult roles with distinct personalities and emotional depth.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide English-language voice performances for an animated fantasy series.
- Record character dialogue remotely using your own recording setup.
- Deliver expressive performances that reflect each character’s personality and story.
- Follow voice direction and production notes.
- Provide professional-quality recordings within production deadlines.
- Collaborate remotely with the creative and audio production team.
Requirements
- Voice actors capable of portraying one of five featured characters.
- Aizick: masculine, 14 years old, African American; upbeat, excitable, justice-driven, and passionate about learning.
- Clouse: androgynous/feminine, 15 years old; humble, kind, book-smart, slightly snarky, and socially awkward.
- Lloyd: androgynous/feminine, 31 years old; kind, composed, mildly awkward, and carrying emotional weight from their past.
- Adriana: feminine, 29 years old, African American; no-nonsense, stoic, loyal, and capable of dry, sarcastic humor.
- Isadora: feminine, 50 years old, African American; reclusive, prone to worrying, compassionate, and carrying underlying grief.
- Must be able to record remotely using your own equipment.
- Strong acting ability and vocal characterization skills.
- Able to record in English.
Compensation
- $3 per line.
- Minimum $50 per engagement.
