Job Description:
Cinethetica is casting a supporting role for its upcoming debut dark supernatural drama, Miss American Vampire. The production is seeking a talented non-union male actor aged 11–16 to play “Omri,” the loyal best friend of the lead character, River. The film will be shot in North Bay, Ontario.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character of Omri with depth, humor, and emotional range.

  • Participate in rehearsals and take direction from the film’s director and crew.

  • Maintain professionalism and energy throughout filming.

  • Collaborate closely with other cast members, particularly the lead, to bring their shared friendship to life.

  • Deliver performances that reflect Omri’s balance of mischievousness and dry wit.

Role Summary (Omri):
Omri is a practical, good-natured kid who provides stability to the group of friends. He has a mischievous streak and a dry sense of humor that balances the dynamics. Though he often serves as the voice of reason, he’s fiercely loyal to River and follows him into trouble, always prioritizing their friendship above all else.

Requirements:

  • Male, aged 11–16

  • Must be non-union

  • Comfortable working on supernatural-themed film sets

  • Previous acting experience is a plus, but not mandatory

  • Must be available for up to 5 days of filming during the production window

Compensation:

  • $260 per day

  • Estimated 5 shooting days (8 hours per day)

  • Total approximate compensation: $1,300
