• Convey the character’s determination to take risks in order to make groundbreaking discoveries, even in the face of potential career repercussions.
• Exhibit a depth of experience and worldly knowledge gained from extensive work on various archaeological dig sites.
• Convey Heather’s belief in the existence of a lost, advanced global civilization, and her unwavering commitment to proving its existence.
• Bring to life the strong bond between Heather and her friend, Dylan, whom she met while studying at Georgetown.

Audition Lines:

1. [apologetically] Yeah, I suppose you do. (DEEP EXHALING SIGH) So…about the contents of this signal… What more can you tell me about it?
2. [frustrated] Hell if I know! It’s a shit ton of sand and rocks. My team has been clearing the area for the last year and a half, we aren’t supposed to be getting into the really interesting stuff until this fall.
3. (panic rising) I think someone is trying to interfere with the dig site because of that signal. This can’t be a coincidence that this Khalid guy shows up just after you found it.
4. (leans in, intrigued) I’ve suspected something like this for a while. Influential figures attempting to manipulate the narrative, suppress evidence of an advanced ancient civilization… But I’ve always had to tread carefully, for the sake of my work…
5. (Reflectively) There’s also fear. Fear of being insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Fear of what we don’t understand. Uncovering an ancient civilization that’s more advanced than us… it could change everything we thought we knew about ourselves and our place in the universe. We have this desperate need to feel more important than we actually are.

Requirements:
