Job Description
“Before I Do,” a short film from Five Spice Films, is seeking actors for three principal roles. Produced by students from NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, the story centers on family relationships, emotional distance, love, and changing connections. The production is casting Chinese performers for the roles of Ying Ying, Father, and Joseph.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a principal role in the narrative short film.
- Deliver emotionally authentic performances centered on family and relationship dynamics.
- Work collaboratively with the director, cast, and production team.
- Attend required in-person auditions and scheduled filming days.
Requirements
- Ying Ying: Chinese female, screen age mid-to-late 20s, fluent in English, required for 4 shoot days.
- Father: Chinese male, screen age late 40s–50s, fluent in English and Chinese, required for 3 shoot days.
- Joseph: Chinese male, screen age mid-to-late 20s, fluent in English, required for 2–3 shoot days.
- Must be available for an in-person audition if shortlisted.
