Job Description
A journalist based in Leeds is seeking Northern actors to participate in interviews for a short documentary exploring the Northern drama school and acting scene. The documentary will focus on actors’ real career experiences, including their professional journeys, successes and challenges, formal training or drama school experiences, and how they entered the acting industry. Filming is planned for August and September, with the journalist able to travel to participants for interviews. Some exceptions may be made for video call interviews.
Job Responsibilities

- Share insights into career successes and challenges
- Explain how you entered and developed your acting career
- Participate in an in-person filmed interview or, where approved, a video call
Requirements
- Must be a Northern actor
- Comfortable discussing your acting career on camera
- Video call interviews may be considered in some circumstances
- Actors with different career and training backgrounds are encouraged to get in touch
