Job Details: We are excited to announce a casting opportunity for a Māori Grandmother and her Māori Grandson aged 16 – 20. We are seeking related family pairings such as a grandmother with her real grandson, nephew, or a close family friend. This casting call is for an upcoming TV commercial for a prominent New Zealand brand. The shoot will involve a simple, heartwarming scene where the grandson visits his grandmother for a cup of tea and they engage in a meaningful conversation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in auditions and any necessary rehearsals.
• Act in a TV commercial, playing the roles of a grandmother and grandson.
• Engage authentically in a conversation scene as directed.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be of Māori descent and represent a grandmother-grandson pairing.
• Must be based in or near Auckland, New Zealand.
• No professional acting experience required, but must be comfortable performing in front of cameras.
• Must have full availability for all potential shooting dates.

Compensation:

• $5,000 NZD each (minus tax).
• Compensation includes payment for the shoot day and rights for the commercial to be aired on NZ TV, cinema, and the internet for 1 year.
