Job Responsibilities

  • Portray Yoshi, a reflective and resourceful character with a love for kite flying and invention

  • Perform in musical scenes with confidence, emotion, and character-driven storytelling

  • Collaborate with the cast and creative team during rehearsals and performances

  • Express determination and quiet passion through acting, movement, and light vocals

Requirements

  • Male or female-identifying performer of Asian descent

  • Must be non-union and able to work as a local hire in NYC

  • Strong acting skills with movement ability; singing experience is a plus

  • Must be available for the full 6-week rehearsal and performance schedule

Compensation

  • $400 per week for 6 weeks
