We are seeking talented individuals to fill the roles of MJ in his twenties and Little Michael at age 10. Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the role of Michael Jackson with accuracy and enthusiasm, reflecting the icon’s unique characteristics and stage presence.
  • Sing and perform various songs from Michael Jackson’s solo career or the Jackson Five discography.
  • Participate in rigorous rehearsals in accordance with the director’s schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the cast, crew, and creative team to ensure a cohesive and high-caliber performance.
  • Attend promotional events, photo shoots, and other engagements as part of the production’s marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Strong singing and dancing skills with the ability to emulate Michael Jackson’s style.
  • For the role of MJ: Males in their twenties with a physical resemblance to Michael Jackson.
  • For the role of Little Michael: Boys who can portray Michael Jackson at age 10.
  • Previous stage experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Availability for all rehearsals, performances, and promotional events.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction well.

A powerful and emotionally resonant full-length theater production is casting femme-presenting actors who can play ages 19–20 for a four-week run in Brooklyn. Performances will take place at the Makers Ensemble Makers’ Space with a Thursday–Sunday schedule. This is a non-equity production offering both guaranteed pay and profit-sharing.
