A new indie vampire feature is casting the lead role of River, a young Indigenous boy at the heart of a gripping supernatural story. The production is searching Canada-wide for non-union talent to bring this central character to life. This is a paid opportunity with a competitive day rate. Job Responsibilities

• Portray the lead character “River” with emotional authenticity and screen presence

• Participate in scheduled filming days (8-hour days)

• Collaborate closely with the director and cast in a genre-focused narrative

• Bring depth and sensitivity to the story’s lead role

Requirements

• Male, age range 11–14

• Indigenous

• Non-union talent only

• Must be based in Canada or able to work as a Canadian local hire

• Acting experience is a plus but not required

Compensation

• $300 per filming day (based on an 8-hour day) for the lead role

• All other roles: $260/day

• Paid production

• Great opportunity for early career exposure in a lead role
