Casting Call: Actors for Parental Roles

Project Description: Meow Wolf is casting for an upcoming Print Photography and Video Campaign. We are seeking a mature Vietnamese couple to portray the parents of an adult son in his 50’s. This opportunity is perfect for those looking to bring authenticity and depth to a family-centric narrative in a creative and visually rich campaign.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in both print photography and video shoots as per the director’s vision.
  • Portray the characters with authenticity, embodying the familial relationship and dynamics as specified by the project requirements.
  • Work closely with the production team, including directors, photographers, and other actors, to achieve the desired outcome for the project.
  • Attend fittings or meetings as required prior to the shoot.
  • Commit to the shoot schedule, which may include multiple days of filming and photography.

Requirements:

  • Age: Candidates must be between 65-85 years old.
  • Descent: Must be of Vietnamese descent to ensure authenticity in the portrayal of the characters.
  • Real Couples ONLY: We are looking for genuine couples to portray these roles. NO SINGLE SUBMISSIONS will be considered.
  • Ability to convey a wide range of emotions and familial relationships through non-verbal expressions and dialogue.
  • Previous acting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be able to travel to Albuquerque, NM, for the shoot if not locally based. Travel and accommodation will be provided for talents outside of New Mexico.
  • Must be comfortable working on set for up to 10 hours per day.

Compensation Details:

  • The selected couple will be compensated at a rate of $250 for a 10-hour day.
  • Hotel accommodation will be provided for the duration of the shoot if the actors are traveling from outside of New Mexico.
  • Travel expenses will also be covered, including transport to and from Albuquerque, NM.
